Features

  • Programmable digital timer with LCD display.
  • Automatically switches the aquarium equipment on and off at the desired times.
  • Eight different (on/off) switching times possible.
  • The timer can also be switched on or off manually.

Important

  • Before use, plug the timer into a power socket for 4 hours to charge the integrated battery. The timer has a deviation of 2 minutes per month. If the LCD screen is not working, the timer must first be charged.

Setting the time

  • To use the timer, you must first set the correct time: Press and hold the CLOCK button and press HOUR to set the hour.
  • Press and hold the CLOCK button and press MIN to set the minutes.
  • Press and hold the CLOCK button and press WEEK to set the day of the week.
  • To clear the settings, press the R button with a pen.

Programming the timer

  • Press PROG to set the switch-on and switch-off times; the display will show “1ON”.
  • Press HOUR, MIN or WEEK to set the hours, minutes or days of the week on which the timer switches on the power.
  • Press PROG again; the display will show “1OFF”. Repeat the steps to set the hours, minutes and days of the week on which the timer switches off the power. Press  to clear the last setting and reset it.
  • There are eight (on/off) switch-on times (1ON/1OFF, 2ON/2OFF, …, 8ON/8OFF) that can be programmed.
  • Press CLOCK to finish programming.

Possible combinations of days
During programming, the display shows “MO TU WE TH FR SA SU”, which means that it concerns a daily switch-on or switch-off. Press WEEK to select a day (“MO”,  “TU”, etc.) or a series of days.
The following sequences are possible:

  • “MO TU WE TH FR” (weekdays), “SA SU” (weekend),
  • “MO TU WE TH FR SA”, “MO WE FR”, “TU TH SA”,
  • “MO TU WE”, “TH FR SA”.
  • If no days are displayed, the setting will not work on any day.
  • Timer ON/ON AUTO/OFF/AUTO

OFF setting

  • The display shows “ON”, “ON AUTO”, “OFF” or “AUTO OFF” below the time. Press  to select the desired function
  • “ON”, the timer is permanently switched on and supplies power (red light is on).
  • “ON AUTO”, the timer is switched on (red light is on) and switches off automatically at a programmed switch-off time.
  • “OFF”, the timer is permanently switched off and does not supply power (red light is off).
  • “AUTO OFF”, the timer is switched off (red light is off) and switches on automatically at a programmed switch-on time.

Special functions
Press WEEK and HOUR simultaneously; “RND“ will appear on the right-hand side of the display. The programmed switching times will be adjusted randomly (between 2 and 32 minutes maximum).
Press MIN and HOUR simultaneously. “+1h “ will appear on the right-hand side of the display and the clock will automatically be set forward one hour (summer time). Press MIN and HOUR simultaneously again and the clock will be reset to the normal time.

  • Protect the socket and plug against moisture. Use a drip loop to ensure that water cannot reach the socket via the power cord.
  • This device can be used by children aged from 8 years and above, persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge, if they have been given supervision or instructions concerning the use of the device in a safe way  and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the device. Cleaning and maintenance of the device shall not be done by children without supervision.
  • Only suitable for indoor use for aquarium purposes.

Recycle information

This symbol indicates that this product (if it is discarded) may not be disposed of with normal household waste. Instead it must be handed in at an official collection centre (e.g.
HWRC). Or can be returned to the dealer when purchasing a similar new product. Follow the applicable rules in your country for the separate collection of electrical and electronic products. Separate collection and recycling are better for the environment, public health and reduces waste.

2 years manufacturer’s warranty on materials and construction defects. Devices must be returned complete with all components, accompanied with an official proof of purchase confirming a purchase date for any warranty claims. Breakages of parts not due to defects ex factory are not covered by this warranty.
