FS-2359 Dual Action Float Switch
The dual action float switch allows the control of a solar water pumping system to start and stop the pump based on the water level in a tank.
This dual-action float switch can be wired as either Normally Open (NO) or Normally Closed (NC). The use of either NO or NC is based on the pump controller used or the system configuration. Review the controller manual to make that determination.
- NO (Normally Open): Only use black and blue wire. Cut off the brown wire
- NC (Normally Closed): Only use black and brown wire. Cut off the blue wire.

Float Switch Wiring
The dual action float switch can be wired for either Normally Open or Normally Closed. This function is determined by the wires used. Only 2 of the 3 wires will be used.
The included counterweight is used to hold down the float switch cable. Install counterweight onto a 15-meter cable prior to connecting to the pump controller. Position it on the cable and adjust so the float switch is in the up position for the desired water level. The float switch cable can be shortened as needed or extended with proper waterproof splicing.
