Installation Safety Advice

Proper installation of gym equipment is critical for safety, stability, and long-term performance. Please ensure the following precautions are followed during assembly and installation:

  1. Preparation
    • Read all assembly instructions fully before starting.
    • Ensure all parts and tools required are available.
    • Assemble the racking in a clear, flat, stable area free of obstructions.
    • Always have at least two people for installation to safely handle heavy parts.
  2. Personal Safety
    • Wear closed-toe shoes, gloves, and safety glasses.
    • Lift heavy components using correct lifting technique (bend at knees, not at the back).
    • Do not attempt to assemble if fatigued or under the influence of alcohol/medications.
  3. Assembly
    • Follow the assembly sequence step by step.
    • Use only the bolts, nuts, and fasteners supplied—do not substitute hardware.
    • Tighten all bolts securely, but do not overtighten to avoid thread damage.
    • Install all safety pins, locking mechanisms, and end caps.
    • Do not modify, weld, or drill new holes in the frame.
  4. Stability & Anchoring
    • Ensure the racking is level before tightening bolts.
    • Always anchor racks to the floor or wall if specified in the instructions.
    • Use appropriate floor bolts/anchors supplied for your flooring type (concrete, timber, etc.).
    • Check that the structure is solid and does not rock or sway after installation.
  5.  Final Checks
    • Inspect the entire structure before first use:
    • All bolts and fasteners fully tightened
    • Safety pins and locks engaged
    • Uprights and crossbeams aligned
    • Test with light loads before applying full weight.
  6. Ongoing Safety
    • Perform regular inspections (monthly recommended).
    • Retighten bolts periodically as vibrations and use can cause loosening.
    • Immediately replace any worn or damaged parts.
    • Do not exceed the rated load capacity of the racking system.
    • Ensure all users understand correct and safe usage Warranty Coverage Table.

Care & Maintenance. Gym Racks & Cable Machines
Regular care and maintenance will ensure your equipment remains safe, functional, and long-lasting. Please follow the guidelines below:

  1. General Cleaning
    • Wipe down frames, racks, and attachments regularly with a soft cloth and a mild detergent solution.
    • Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or steel wool, which can damage powder coating and finishes.
    • Dry all surfaces thoroughly after cleaning to prevent rust or corrosion.
    • For rubber parts (handles, bumpers), use warm water and mild soap only.
  2. Rust & Corrosion Prevention
    • Keep racks and machines in a dry, well-ventilated environment.
    • Wipe off sweat or moisture immediately after use.
    • Inspect powder-coated areas for scratches or chips; touch up small marks with appropriate protective paint to prevent rust.
    • Store equipment away from damp areas, direct sunlight, or chemicals.
  3. Moving Parts & Cables
    • Inspect cables before every use for signs of fraying, kinks, or damage. Replace immediately if damaged.
    • Check pulleys, bushings, and bearings monthly for smooth operation.
    • Lubricate moving parts (such as guide rods and pulleys) every 1–3 months using a silicone-based spray or light machine oil.
    • Ensure cables track properly on pulleys during use.
  4. Bolts, Pins & Fasteners
    • Check and tighten all bolts, nuts, and fasteners at least once per month.
    • Inspect safety pins, J-hooks, and attachments regularly for wear or bending. Replace if worn or damaged.
    • Do not continue use if any structural part appears loose, bent, or compromised.
  5.  Upholstery & Padding
    • Wipe pads and upholstery after each use with a mild soap solution or antibacterial wipe.
    • Avoid harsh chemicals or bleach, which can crack or dry materials.
    • Inspect stitching and seams regularly. Replace padding if torn or damaged.
  6. Usage Guidelines
    • Do not exceed maximum load ratings of racks or cable machines.
    • Use equipment only as intended, with correct attachments and weights.
    • Encourage users to re-rack weights properly to prevent unnecessary wear and damage.
  7. Regular Inspection Schedule
    • Daily: Wipe down frames, handles, and pads after use.
    • Weekly: Inspect cables, pulleys, and moving parts for wear.
    • Monthly: Check and tighten all bolts, lubricate guide rods, inspect structural integrity.
    • Annually: Complete a full inspection of all parts and replace any worn or damaged components.
