Product Usage Instructions

ICEMAKER OPERATION:

  • The control board operates the Nidec-Servo icemaker. Power comes from the control board. The control board manages fill time and icemaker errors, which it senses and displays.
  • The control board powers the icemaker system when the is selected and the icemaker energises.
  • If the door/drawer switch is closed (drawer/door open), the control board interrupts power to the icemaker, unless the icemaker is in the fill mode. Once the door/drawer switch opens, power does not return to the icemaker for three minutes.
  • When the icemaker rotates to the fill position, the icemaker sends voltage to the control board. The control board then sends power to the water valve(s) for a preset duration.
  • The fill adjustment screw on the icemaker does not adjust the water fill time. The control board controls the water fill time.
  • When the ice harvest is complete, the control board removes power to the icemaker for 45 minutes.
  • Max Ice feature runs the evaporator fan at high speed when the compressor is running and at low speed when the compressor is off.
  • Sabbath Mode disables the icemaker.
