BEOOGD GEBRUIK
De STREX bedrade Achteruitrijcamera met vier camera’s, voornamelijk ontworpen voor campers, vrachtwagens, trailers, campers, bussen, campers of caravans, is een essentieel hulpmiddel om de veiligheid en zichtbaarheid te verbeteren. Deze grotere voertuigen hebben vaak aanzienlijke dode hoeken en het systeem biedt uitgebreide weergaven van achteren, opzij en van voren om deze te elimineren. Het is voornamelijk handig voor veilig achteruitrijden in krappe ruimtes, zoals campings, parkeerplaatsen of smalle wegen, door duidelijke beelden van de omgeving van het voertuig te leveren.
Voor het slepen bieden de camera’s een duidelijk beeld van het trekhaakgebied en de omtrek van de trailer, wat zorgt voor veilig slepen en gemakkelijkere uitlijning tijdens het aansluiten. De aan de zijkant gemonteerde camera’s helpen bij het bewaken van dode hoeken tijdens rijstrookwisselingen, voor- namelijk op snelwegen, terwijl de opstelling met meerdere camera’s zorgt voor een breed gebieds- bewustzijn via gesplitste schermweergaven, wat het navigeren en parkeren van grote voertuigen beter beheersbaar maakt.
Bovendien verbetert het systeem de veiligheid bij slecht zicht, dankzij de nachtzichtfunctie. Dit zorgt ervoor dat bestuurders ‘s nachts veilig kunnen manoeuvreren. Er zijn geen andere toepassingen voor dit product.
Gebruik de Camera alleen zoals beschreven is in deze handleiding. Elk ander gebruik wordt als ongepast beschouwd en kan leiden tot persoonlijk letsel of materiële schade. STREX is niet aansprakelijk voor schade of letsel die het gevolg is van onjuist of onzorgvuldig gebruik.

UITPAKKEN
Haal alles uit de verpakking en controleer op beschadigingen. Als dit het geval is, gebruik of installeer de Camera’s of monitor dan niet. Wees zeer voorzichtig bij het openen van de verpakking om schade aan het product te voorkomen.
Controleer na het uitpakken van het product of de levering compleet is en of alle onderdelen in goede staat verkeren. Mis je een onderdeel, of je hebt een beschadigd onderdeel, neem dan contact met ons op via e-mail: info@strex.nl.
Verwijder voor gebruik alle verpakkingsmaterialen en stickers of etiketten.

VEILIGHEID TIJDENS HET UITPAKKEN
Laat het verpakkingsmateriaal of de accessoires niet achteloos rondslingeren tijdens het uitpakken. Het kan gevaarlijk speelmateriaal worden voor kinderen. Gooi het verpakkingsmateriaal pas weg als de Camera’s en monitor zijn uitgeprobeerd en werken.
WAARSCHUWING: Plastic zakken & folies.
Houd plastic zakken en folies uit de buurt van baby’s en kinderen om verstikkingsgevaar te voorkomen! Dunne folies kunnen aan de neus en mond blijven plakken en de ademhaling belemmeren.
WAARSCHUWING: Wurggevaar.
Kabels, snoeren of koorden die langer zijn dan 18 cm (7 inch) kunnen schadelijk zijn voor baby’s en zeer jonge kinderen.
WAARSCHUWING: Knoopcelbatterij.
De afstandsbediening wordt geleverd met de benodigde CR2025 knoopcelbatterij. Wees voorzichtig bij het uitpakken en/of plaatsen van batterijen. Knoopcelbatterijen zijn klein en zeer krachtig. Voor kinderen kunnen ze eruitzien als snoep of munten, en ze kunnen heel gemakkelijk worden ingeslikt
– Houd nieuwe en gebruikte knoopcelbatterijen buiten het bereik van kinderen.
– Een ingeslikte knoopcelbatterij kan binnen twee uur interne chemische brandwonden veroorzaken en tot de dood leiden.
– Als je denkt dat de knoopcelbatterij ingeslikt is of in enig deel van het lichaam is geplaatst, dien je onmiddellijk medische hulp in te roepen.
– Gooi gebruikte knoopcelbatterijen onmiddellijk weg.

PRODUCTKENMERKEN
Universele installatie van de kit op elk voertuig, dankzij de voedingsspanning 12 V-24 V. 4 meegeleverde camera’s bieden een volledig allround zicht op het voertuig. Hoogwaardige video van 1080P-camera’s. Kleurenbeeld. Dankzij de verbeterde camera kan de monitor een AHD-nachtzichtbeeld leveren (bereik tot 10
m). De achteruitrijcamera legt een breed gezichtsveld van 150 ° vast en zorgt ervoor dat het
achteruit- zicht niet te beperkt of vervormd is om een duidelijk beeld te tonen. Parkeerhulplijnen voor betere oriëntatie. Met behulp van de hulplijnen kun je de afstand tussen

Beeld omkeren: Standaard wordt het achteruitzicht weergegeven als een spiegelbeeld. Met de functie voor beeldomkering kan het beeld worden geschakeld tussen vier modi: boven, onder, links en rechts.
Gebruik van betrouwbare 4-pins vliegtuigkabels voor de verbinding. Zonnescherm op de monitor voor gemakkelijke weergave op een zonnige dag.

De loop-opnamefunctie en de lokale afspeelfunctionaliteit zorgen ervoor dat het apparaat kan functioneren als een dashcam. Opnamen worden opgeslagen op een micro SD-kaart (niet meegeleverd) met een capaciteit van maximaal 128 GB. Wanneer de opslag vol is, overschrijft het systeem automatisch de oudste video’s, wat zorgt voor continue opname zonder onderbrekingen.

BEDRADINGSINSTALLATIE
De monitor kan worden gevoed via de accessoires van je voertuig, de zekeringkast, de sigaretten- aansteker of de contactschakelaar, en ondersteunt dc 12V~24V.
De camera kan worden aangesloten op het rijlicht, het achterlicht of het achteruitrijlicht voor continue observatie.
Zorg ervoor dat de pinvormige stekker correct en stevig is aangesloten. Elke connector is gelabeld met de bijbehorende interfacemarkering.
De monitor bevat zes gekleurde draden (rood, zwart, blauw, wit, groen en bruin). 13
Sluit de rode draad aan op de positieve 12V/24V-voedingsbron en de zwarte draad op de aarde. Sluit bij gebruik van de camera als achteruitrijcamera de overeenkomstige gekleurde kabel aan
op de 12V/24V-voedingsbron: – Groen voor CH2 – Blauw voor CH3 – Bruin voor CH4 Bijvoorbeeld, als de blauwe draad is aangesloten op het achteruitrijlicht, zal de monitor automatisch het beeld van de achteruitrijcamera (CH1) weergeven wanneer de achteruitversnelling is ingeschakeld. Zodra het achteruitrijden is voltooid, schakelt de monitor terug naar de standaard videoweergavemodus.
DE (MICRO SD-KAART) GEHEUGENKAART
Geheugenkaart selectie: Kies een C10 Micro SD-kaart (klasse 10: minimale schrijfsnelheid van 10 MB/s) van een gerenommeerd merk en gebruik deze na het formatteren op de monitor. Er kan niet worden gegarandeerd dat een gewone spotgoedkope merkloze kaart naar behoren zal werken.
De geheugenkaart plaatsen: Plaats de geheugenkaart in de daarvoor bestemde sleuf. De geheugenkaart moet er vrij in kunnen schuiven met weinig weerstand. Blijf de kaart naar binnen drukken totdat je een klik hoort. De geheugenkaart is nu op zijn plaats vergrendeld en klaar voor gebruik.
De geheugenkaart verwijderen: Schakel de monitor uit voordat je de geheugenkaart verwijdert. Druk kort op de geheugenkaart om deze gedeeltelijk uit te werpen (om te voorkomen dat de kaart uit de sleuf valt, druk je op het midden van de kaart en laat je deze langzaam los, zonder je vinger van de kaart te halen). De geheugenkaart kan dan met de hand worden verwijderd.
De geheugenkaart bewaren: Bewaar de kaart uit de buurt van sterke magnetische velden, die mogelijk gegevensbeschadiging kunnen veroorzaken. Vermijd blootstelling van de kaart aan extreme temperaturen, vocht en luchtvochtigheid. Bewaar de geheugenkaart in een speciaal plastic hoesje.

Eerste gebruik: verwijder het plastic lipje aan de onderkant van de afstandsbediening. Dit plastic lipje voorkomt dat de batterij leegloopt en moet voor gebruik worden verwijderd.
Richt de afstandsbediening op de IR-ontvanger op het voorpaneel van de monitor. Voor optimale prestaties moet je ervoor zorgen dat de afstandsbediening is uitgelijn met de IR-ontvanger.
Als de afstandsbediening niet goed werkt, neem dan de volgende stappen: – Verwijder alle obstakels tussen de afstandsbediening en de monitor. – Verklein de afstand tussen de afstandsbediening en de monitor. – Vervang de batterij door een nieuwe batterij. – Als het bovenstaande het probleem niet oplost, neem dan contact met ons op

VEILIGHEID TIJDENS INSTALLATIE
Gebruik dit product met een voertuigaccu van 12 of 24 volt en negatieve aarde. Als je dit niet doet, kan dit leiden tot brand of storing van de apparaten.
Om kortsluiting in het elektrische systeem te voorkomen, koppel je de (-) accukabel los voordat je met de installatie begint.
Schakel voor het aansluiten het contact uit om kortsluiting te voorkomen.
Installeer de monitor niet waar:
Het zicht van de bestuurder gehinderd kan worden.
Het de prestaties van het besturingssysteem van het voertuig of veiligheidsvoorzieningen, zoals airbags of waarschuwingsknipperlichten, nadelig kan beïnvloeden.
Het vermogen van de bestuurder om het voertuig veilig te besturen belemmerd wordt.
Het is uiterst gevaarlijk als kabels rond de stuurkolom of versnelling kunnen worden gewikkeld. Je dient dit product, kabels en bedrading daarom zo te installeren en weg te werken dat ze de bediening niet belemmeren of hinderen! Zorg ervoor dat de kabels en bedrading niet in de buurt komen van of vast komen te zitten in bewegende delen van het voertuig, in het bijzonder het stuur, versnellingspook, parkeerrem, verstelbare stoelrails of andere bedieningselementen van het voertuig.
Leg geen kabels of bedrading onder schroeven.
Leg de draden niet op plaatsen waar ze worden blootgesteld aan hoge temperaturen. Als de isolatie van de draden erg heet wordt, kunnen ze beschadigd raken, wat kortsluiting of storing kan veroorzaken en mogelijk blijvende schade aan de monitor kan veroorzaken.
Controleer na montage of de remlichten, richtingaanwijzers, ruitenwissers etc. van het voertuig nog goed werken.
ALGEMENE APPARAAT VEILIGHEID
Gebruik de Camera’s en monitor niet voor een ander doel dan waarvoor ze bedoeld zijn (zie het hoofdstuk “BEOOGD GEBRUIK”).
De Camera’s en monitor zijn alleen ontworpen en bedoeld voor privégebruik en is niet geschikt voor commerciële doeleinden.
Bedien de monitor niet als je op de weg bent en op het verkeer moet letten.
De monitor is alleen bedoeld voor gebruik in een voertuig en moet tegen regen bescherm worden.
Ga voorzichtig met de apparaten om. Schokken, stoten of een val, zelfs van geringe hoogte, kunnen de apparaten beschadigen.
Plaats de monitor niet op een onstabiel oppervlak. Dit kan leiden tot vallen en kan storingen veroor- zaken.
Plaats de camera’s en de monitor niet onder mechanische belasting.
De apparaten moeten correct en veilig worden geïnstalleerd en gemonteerd. Volg de instructies om mogelijk schade/letsel te voorkomen.

Gebruik nooit accessoires die niet door de producent worden aanbevolen. Ze kunnen een gevaar vormen voor de gebruiker en de apparaten beschadigen.

PERSONEN & GEBRUIK
De apparaten zijn geen speelgoed. Houd en bewaar de apparaten buiten bereik van kleine kinderen.
Kinderen mogen de monitor en afstandsbediening alleen gebruiken onder toezicht van een volwassene.
De Camera kan worden gebruikt door kinderen van 16 jaar en ouder en personen met verminderde fysieke, zintuiglijke of mentale capaciteiten of gebrek aan ervaring en kennis als ze onder toezicht staan of instructies hebben gekregen over het veilige gebruik van het apparaat en ze de daaruit voortvloeiende gevaren begrijpen.

ELEKTRONICA
Je mag de apparaten niet reconstrueren, repareren of demonteren. Dit kan de apparaten beschadigen.
Onderhoud, wijzigingen en reparaties mogen uitsluitend worden uitgevoerd door de fabrikant, een door de fabrikant aangewezen professionele werkplaats of een gelijkwaardig gekwalificeerde persoon.
Controleer de apparaten af en toe op beschadigingen. Gebruik een apparaat nooit als het tekenen van beschadiging vertoont.
Zorg ervoor dat je voertuigbatterij de juiste voedingsspanning levert om schade aan de
apparaten te voorkomen. Als de stroom uitvalt, schakel de apparaten dan onmiddellijk uit en koppel de voedingskabel los. Als er rook, vuur of een vreemde geur of geluid uit een apparaat komt, moet je het apparaat
onmiddellijk uitschakelen. Neem contact op met de fabrikant, een door de fabrikant aangewezen professionele werkplaats of een vergelijkbaar gekwalificeerde persoon voordat je de apparaten opnieuw gebruikt.
KABELS
Wijzig de kabels niet. Controleer de kabels regelmatig op beschadigingen. Gebruik een kabel nooit als er tekenen van
beschadiging zijn. Forceer nooit een connector in een aansluiting. Als de connector en de aansluiting niet
gemakkelijk samenkomen, dan komen ze waarschijnlijk niet overeen. Controleer op obstructies en zorg ervoor dat de connector overeenkomt met de aansluiting en dat je de connector correct hebt gepositioneerd. Trek een kabel nooit uit door aan de kabel te trekken. Trek altijd aan de connector. De kabels mogen niet worden geknikt, bekneld of gedraaid. Zorg ervoor dat de kabels niet wordt samengedrukt, gebogen, beschadigd door scherpe randen of onder mechanische belasting komt te staan. Leg nooit een knoop in een kabel. Vermijd overmatige thermische belasting van de kabels door extreme hitte of kou. Kinderen kunnen verstrikt raken tijdens het spelen met de kabels (wurggevaar). Elektrische kabels zijn geen speelgoed.

HITTE & KOELING
De monitor kan warm worden tijdens gebruik. Dit is normaal. Bedek de monitor niet terwijl het in gebruik is, aangezien het apparaat hierdoor oververhit kan
raken. Dit vormt een risico op brand, elektrische schokken of letsel. Zorg voor een goede ventilatie rondom de monitor tijdens het gebruik. Houd de monitor uit de buurt van warmtebronnen en uit of weg van gebieden waar de
omgevingstemperatuur relatief hoog is (bijv. fornuizen of andere warmtebronnen). Gebruik het apparaat nooit in de buurt van open vuurbronnen (zoals brandende kaarsen) of op hete oppervlakken. De apparaten moeten worden opgeslagen en gebruikt bij de omgevingstemperaturen die worden beschreven in het hoofdstuk “TECHNISCHE GEGEVENS”. De apparaten kunnen beschadigd raken en de levensduur van de batterij van de afstandsbediening kan worden verkort als de apparaten buiten dit temperatuurbereik worden opgeslagen of gebruikt. Stel je apparaten niet bloot aan dramatische temperatuurschommelingen. Gebruik de apparaten alleen in een gematigd klimaat (niet in een tropisch klimaat).
WATER
WAARSCHUWING: Dit apparaat is niet waterdicht. Gebruik de monitor of de afstandsbediening nooit met vochtige of natte
handen. Vocht kan een elektrische schok of kortsluiting veroorzaken. Stel de monitor of de afstandsbediening niet bloot aan regen of water
om kortsluiting te voorkomen. Giet nooit vloeisto en over of in de buurt van de monitor of
afstandsbediening. Er bestaat gevaar voor een elektrische schok! Schakel de monitor uit als er toch vloeistof in de behuizing komt.

BATTERIJ VEILIGHEID
Plaats de afstandsbediening niet in de buurt van vuur of in direct zonlicht. De opwarming van het apparaat kan extra verwarming, breuk of ontsteking van de batterij veroorzaken.
Probeer de batterij niet op te laden. Deze batterij is daarvoor niet geschikt. Probeer de batterij niet aan te passen of uit elkaar te halen. Gebruik geen batterij die beschadigd of vervormd is. Gebruik je afstandsbediening niet als de batterij geur begint af te geven, oververhit raakt of
begint te lekken. Raak geen lekkende materialen aan en adem de dampen van de batterij niet in. Lekkende of
beschadigde batterijen kunnen bij contact met de huid bijtend letsel veroorzaken, draag daarom in dat geval geschikte veiligheidshandschoenen. De batterij bevat gevaarlijke sto en. Open de batterij niet en plaats niets in een blootliggende batterij. Sta niet toe dat kinderen en dieren een blootgestelde batterij aanraken. Gooi de batterij nooit in het vuur. Niet kortsluiten. Bij kortsluiting kan de batterij exploderen of lekken. Een lege batterij kan nog steeds gevaarlijk zijn. Wanneer je met de batterij omgaat, zorg er dan voor dat je handen, het product en de batterij droog zijn. Om onbedoelde kortsluiting van de batterij na verwijdering te voorkomen, mogen de batterijpolen niet in contact komen met metalen voorwerpen (bijvoorbeeld munten, haarspelden, ringen). Wikkel de batterij niet in aluminiumfolie. Plak de batterijpolen vast of stop de batterij in een plastic zak voordat je deze weggooit. Slik een batterij niet in. Roep onmiddellijk medische hulp in als een batterij wordt ingeslikt. Reinig de batterijcontacten en ook die van het apparaat voordat je de batterij installeert. Zorg ervoor dat de batterijen correct zijn geplaatst met betrekking tot polariteit (+ en -). Onderzoek je apparaat en zorg ervoor dat het batterijvak goed is vastgemaakt. Als het batterijcompartiment niet veilig sluit, stop dan met het gebruik van het apparaat en houd het weg van kinderen. Vervang de batterij alleen door een batterij van hetzelfde formaat en hetzelfde type. Gebruik batterijen binnen de aanbevolen gebruiksperiode. Houd de batterij uit de buurt van kinderen, baby’s of dieren.

REINIGING
Zet de stroom uit voordat je gaat reinigen De camera’s zijn waterdicht en kunnen worden gereinigd met water en een doek. Voor het reinigen van de buitenkant van de monitor wordt een zachte, droge doek aanbevolen. Pas op dat je tijdens het schoonmaken niet te veel druk uitoefent op de monitor en de knoppen
van de monitor of de knoppen van de afstandsbediening. Dompel de monitor of de afstandsbediening niet onder in water of andere vloeisto en. Het is
niet toegestaan om de apparaten met water af te spoelen, om te voorkomen dat het water in het elektrische circuit lekt en storingen veroorzaakt. Gebruik in geen geval agressieve reinigingsmiddelen, reinigingsalcohol of andere chemische oplossingen, omdat deze de behuizing kunnen binnendringen of de functionaliteit kunnen aantasten. Gebruik voor het reinigen geen schurende voorwerpen. Reiniging mag niet worden uitgevoerd door kinderen.
ONDERHOUD & SERVICE
De apparaten zijn op een incidentele reiniging na verder onderhoudsvrij. Je mag de apparaten niet reconstrueren, zelf repareren of demonteren. Controleer regelmatig op beschadigingen en ernstige slijtage. Controleer regelmatig het aandraaien van alle schroefverbindingen van de Camera. Als er
speling wordt gedetecteerd, verwijder deze dan onmiddellijk door de juiste schroeven aan te draaien. Het optreden van spelingen in de schroefverbindingen is normaal en valt niet onder de garantie. Controleer regelmatig de bevestiging van de apparaten.
WAARSCHUWING:
Probeer de Achteruitrijcamera niet te openen voor onderhoud. Het verwijderen van de behuizing of een onjuiste hermontage kan elektrische schokken, schade, kortsluitingen of brand veroorzaken.
Als je om welke reden dan ook de behuizing opent, vervalt de garantie. De Achteruitrijcamera bevat geen onderdelen die door de gebruiker kunnen worden gerepareerd. De batterij kan niet vervangen worden.
Onderhoud, wijzigingen en reparaties mogen uitsluitend worden uitgevoerd door de fabrikant, een door de fabrikant aangewezen professionele werkplaats of een gelijkwaardig gekwalificeerde persoon. Stuur in geval van defect het product terug naar STREX met een beschrijving van het defect, het aankoopbewijs en alle toebehoren.
OPSLAG & TRANSPORT
We raden aan om de apparaten te reinigen voordat je het ze voor lange tijd opbergt. Bewaar de apparaten op een stofvrije plaats die niet wordt blootgesteld aan zonlicht en
vochtigheid. Bewaar de apparaten niet bij extreem hoge of extreem lage temperaturen. Dit kan het
apparaten beschadigen. Bewaar de apparaten buiten bereik van kleine kinderen. Verwijder de batterij uit de afstandsbediening voordat je deze voor lange tijd opbergt. Wikkel de kabels niet strak om een apparaat wanneer je ze opbergt. Dit veroorzaakt overmatige
belasting van de kabels. Na verloop van tijd zal dit de kabels beschadigen, wat resulteert in een onveilige situatie voor de gebruiker. Berg de kabels losjes opgerold op. Bescherm de apparaten tijdens transport tegen trillingen en schokken. Na transport of opslag bij zeer koude temperaturen, moet de monitor gedurende ca. 30 minuten aan kamertemperatuur wennen in verband met mogelijke condensatie. Daarna kan de monitor gebruikt worden.

AFVALVERWERKING & RECYCLAGE
Verwijdering van het Product Dit product voldoet aan de richtlijn voor afgedankte elektrische en elektronische apparatuur 2012/19/EU (WEEE). Het symbool met de doorstreepte vuilnisbak op het apparaat geeft aan dat het product op het einde van zijn levenscyclus afzonderlijk van het gewoon huishoudelijk afval moet worden afgedankt en hiervoor naar een centrum voor gescheiden afvalophaling voor de recyclage van elektrische en elektronische apparatuur moet worden gebracht of terugbezorgd moet worden aan de verkoper op het moment waarop een nieuw gelijkaardig apparaat wordt aangekocht. De gebruiker is er verantwoordelijk voor om het apparaat op het einde van de levenscyclus naar een dienst voor afvalophaling te brengen. De correcte gescheiden afvalophaling met het oog op de daaropvolgende recyclage, verwerking en milieuvriendelijke afdanking van het apparaat draagt bij tot het voorkomen van mogelijke negatieve invloeden op het milieu en de gezondheid en bevordert de recyclage van de materialen waaruit het product is samengesteld De onrechtmatige afdanking van het product door de gebruiker heeft door de wet vastgelegde administratieve sancties tot gevolg. Voor meer gedetailleerde informatie over de recyclage van dit product en de beschikbare ophaalsystemen, wendt je zich tot de lokale dienst voor afvalophaling of de winkel waar je het product hebt gekocht. Voldoe aan je wettelijke verplichtingen en draag bij aan de bescherming van het milieu.

Verwijdering van de Batterij De omgang met en in het bijzonder de verwijdering van batterijen en accu’s is onderworpen aan gedefinieerde voorschriften, die door de Europese Commissie bindend zijn geworden door de Europese Batterijrichtlijn 2006/66/ EC. De afstandsbediening bevat een CR2025 Lithium batterij die niet met het huishoudelijk afval mag weggegooid worden. De batterij moet worden gerecycled volgens de plaatselijke voorschriften. Verwijder de batterij uit het apparaat voordat je het weggooit. Als het verwijderen van de batterij niet mogelijk is, deponeer het elektrische apparaat dan in een inzamelbak voor elektrische apparaten. Je bent als eindverbruiker volgens de KCA-voorschriften (Klein chemisch afval) wettelijk verplicht alle lege batterijen in te leveren.
Verwijdering van het Verpakkingsmateriaal Volg de aanwijzingen en markeringen op de verpakking. Zorg ervoor dat plastic zakken, verpakkingen enz. op een juiste milieuvriendelijke manier worden weggegooid. Deponeer deze materialen niet zomaar bij het normale huisvuil, maar zorg ervoor dat ze worden ingezameld voor hergebruik.

GARANTIE & AANSPRAKELIJKHEID
STREX STREX garandeert dat dit product gedurende één jaar vanaf de aankoopdatum vrij zal zijn van materiaal- en fabricagefouten. STREX zal, naar eigen goeddunken, dit product of enig onderdeel van het product dat defect blijkt te zijn tijdens de garantieperiode vervangen of repareren. Vervanging vindt plaats door een nieuw of gereviseerd product of onderdeel. Als het product niet langer beschikbaar is, kan een vervanging worden gemaakt door een vergelijkbaar product van gelijke of hogere waarde. Dit is jouw exclusieve garantie. Je vervangende apparaat wordt kosteloos aan je geretourneerd en valt gedurende de rest van de garantieperiode onder deze garantie.
Deze garantie is geldig voor de oorspronkelijke koper vanaf de datum van eerste aankoop en is niet overdraagbaar. Een aankoopbewijs is vereist om ondersteuning onder de garantie te verkrijgen.

INTENDED USE
The STREX Wired Reverse Camera with four cameras, designed primarily for RVs, trucks, trailers, campers, buses, motorhomes, or caravans, is an essential tool for improving safety and visibility. These larger vehicles often have significant blind spots, and the system provides comprehensive views from the rear, sides, and front to eliminate these. It is particularly useful for safely reversing in tight spaces, such as campsites, parking lots, or narrow roads, by delivering clear visuals of the vehicle’s surroundings.
For towing, the cameras o er a clear view of the hitch area and the trailer’s perimeter, ensuring secure towing and easier alignment during connection. The side-mounted cameras help monitor blind spots during lane changes, especially on highways, while the multi-camera setup allows for wide-area awareness through split-screen displays, which make navigating and parking large vehicles more manageable.
In addition, the system improves safety in poor visibility conditions, thanks to the night vision function. This ensures that drivers can manoeuvre safely at night.

Remove everything from the packaging and check for damage. If this is the case, do not use or install the Cameras or monitor. Be very careful when opening the package to avoid damage to the product. SAFETY DURING UNPACKING
Do not leave packaging material or accessories lying around carelessly during unpacking. It may become dangerous playing material for children. Do not dispose of the packaging material until the Cameras and monitor are installed and working.

WARNING: Coin/button cell battery.
The remote control is delivered with the necessary CR2025 button cell battery. Be careful when unpacking and/or installing this battery. Button cell batteries are small and very powerful. To kids, they might look like candy or coins and can be very easily swallowed.

WIRING INSTALLATION

The camera can be connected to the driving light, taillight, or reversing light for continuous observation.
Ensure the pin-shaped plug is correctly and securely connected. Each connector is labelled with its respective interface marking.
The monitor includes six coloured wires (red, black, blue, white, green, and brown). 38
– Connect the red wire to the positive 12V/24V power source and the black wire to the ground. – When using the camera as a rear-view camera, connect the corresponding coloured cable to the 12V/24V power source: – Green for CH2 – Blue for CH3 – Brown for CH4 For example, if the blue wire is connected to the reversing light, the monitor will automatically display the reverse camera feed (CH1) when the reverse gear is engaged. Once reversing is complete, the monitor switches back to its default video display mode.
THE (MICRO SD) MEMORY CARD
Memory card selection: Choose a C10 Micro SD card (Class 10: minimum write speed of 10MB/s) from a reputable brand and use it on the monitor after formatting. It cannot be guaranteed that an ordinary dirt cheap unbranded card will work properly.
Inserting the memory card: Insert the memory card in the designated slot. The memory card should slide in freely with little resistance. Continue pressing the card inward until you hear a click. The memory card is now locked in place and ready for use.
Removing the memory card: Before removing the memory card, turn the monitor o . Press and release the memory card to eject it part way (to prevent the card from falling from the slot, press the centre of the card and release it slowly, without removing your finger from the card). The memory card can then be removed by hand.
Storing the memory Card: Store the card away from strong magnetic fields, which can potentially cause data corruption. Avoid exposing the card to extreme temperatures, moisture, and humidity. Store the memory card in a dedicated plastic case.

First-time use: Remove the plastic tab on the bottom of the remote control. This plastic tab prevents the battery from draining and must be removed before use.
Aim the remote control unit at the IR receiver located on the front panel of the monitor. For optimum performance, make sure that the remote control is aligned with the IR receiver.
If the remote controller does not work properly, take the following steps:

Remove all obstacles between the remote controller and the monitor.
–
Reduce the distance between the remote control and the monitor.
–
Replace the battery with a new battery.
–
If the above does not solve the problem, contact us.

If you do not follow the safety instructions and information on proper handling in this manual, we assume no liability for any resulting personal injury or damage to property. Such cases will invalidate the warranty. Electrical appliances and batteries can expose people, especially children, to hazards that can cause serious injury or death. The use of electrical appliances and batteries can present hazards including, but not limited to, injury, fire, electric shock, and damage to the electrical system. These safety instructions are intended to give you the information you need to use the STREX Wired Reverse Camera and to avoid such hazards. Common sense and respect for the device will help reduce the risk of injury. All possible hazards cannot be covered here, but we have tried to highlight some of the important ones. Also, observe the warnings or safety instructions in the individual chapters of this manual. SAFETY DURING INSTALLATION
Use this product with a 12 or 24-volt vehicle battery and negative ground. Failure to do so may result in fire or malfunction of the devices.
To avoid shorting the electrical system, disconnect the (-) battery cable before starting the installation.
Before making the connections, switch o the ignition to avoid short circuits.
Do not install the monitor where:
– It can obstruct the driver’s view.
– It may impair the performance of the vehicle’s operating system or safety features, such as airbags or hazard warning asher buttons.
– It interferes with the driver’s ability to safely operate the vehicle.
It is extremely dangerous if cables can get wrapped around the steering column or gear. You must therefore install and conceal this product, cables, and wiring in such a way that they do not obstruct or interfere with the control! Make sure that the cables and wiring do not interfere with or become caught in any moving parts of the vehicle, especially the steering wheel, gear shifter, parking brake, adjustable seat rails, or other vehicle controls.
Do not place cables or wiring under screws.
Do not run the wires in places where they will be exposed to high temperatures. If the insulation on the wires gets very hot, they can become damaged, causing a short circuit or malfunction, possibly causing permanent damage to the monitor.
After installing, check that the vehicle’s brake lights, turn signals, windshield wipers, etc. still function properly.
GENERAL DEVICE SAFETY
Do not use the Cameras and monitor for any other purpose other than its intended use (see the chapter “INTENDED USE”).
The Cameras and monitor are designed and intended for private use and are not suitable for commercial purposes.
Do not operate the monitor when you are on the road and have to pay attention to tra c.
The monitor is intended for use in a vehicle only and must be protected from rain.
Handle the devices carefully. Jolts, impacts, or a fall even from a low height can damage the devices.
Do not place the Monitor on any unstable surface. This may result in falling and cause malfunction.
Do not place the Cameras and monitor under mechanical stress.
The devices need to be properly and securely installed and mounted. Follow the instructions to prevent any possible damage/injury.
Never use accessories not recommended by the manufacturer. They can pose a danger to the
user and damage the devices.

Never drop or insert any object or fingers into any opening. Do not apply excessive force when using the buttons on the Monitor or the remote controller. Do not apply excessive force on the display and do not touch the display with sharp objects. Do not use the Monitor near strong magnetic fields, e.g. mobile phones, etc. If it is no longer possible to operate a device safely, take it out of operation and protect it from
any accidental use. A safe operation can no longer be guaranteed if the device: – is visibly damaged, – is no longer working properly, – has been stored for extended periods in poor ambient conditions, or – has been subjected to serious transport-related stresses.
PERSONS & USES
The devices are not toys. Keep and store them out of the reach of small children. Children can use the monitor and remote control only with adult supervision. The devices can be used by children aged 16 years and above and persons with reduced
physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the devices safely and they understand the resulting hazards.

ELECTRONICS
To avoid damage, you may not reconstruct, self-repair, or disassemble the devices. Maintenance, modifications, and repairs may only be carried out by the manufacturer, a
professional workshop appointed by the manufacturer, or a similarly qualified person. Check the devices from time to time for damage. Never use a device if it shows signs of damage. Make sure your vehicle battery supplies the correct power voltage to avoid damage to the
devices. If the power fails, turn o the devices immediately and disconnect the power cable. If there’s smoke, fire, or a strange odour or noise coming from a device, you should turn o
the device immediately. Contact the manufacturer, a professional workshop appointed by the manufacturer, or a similarly qualified person before using the devices again.
CABLES
Do not modify the cables. Check the cables periodically for damage. Never use a cable if there are any signs of damage. Never force a connector into a connection. If the connector and connection don’t come together
easily, they probably don’t match. Check for obstructions and make sure the connector matches the connection and that you have correctly positioned the connector. Never unplug a cable by pulling the cable. Always pull on the connector. The cables must not be kinked, pinched, or twisted. Make sure that the cables are not squeezed, bent, damaged by sharp edges, or put under mechanical stress. Never tie a knot in the cable. Avoid excessive thermal stress on the cables due to extreme heat or cold. Children may get entangled when playing with the cables (danger of strangulation). Electric cables are not toys.

HEAT & COOLING
The monitor may become warm during operation. This is normal. Do not cover the monitor while it is being used as this may cause the device to overheat. This
poses a risk of fire, electric shock, or injury. Make sure that the ventilation around the monitor is good during use. Keep the monitor away from heat and in or close to areas where the surrounding temperature
is relatively hot (e.g. stoves or other sources of heat). Never use the device near naked ames (such as burning candles) or on hot surfaces. The devices must be stored and used in the ambient temperatures described in the “TECHNICAL DATA” chapter. The devices may be damaged and the battery life of the remote controller may be shortened if the devices are stored or used outside this temperature range. Do not subject your devices to dramatic changes in temperature. Intended for use in temperate climates only. Do not use in tropical or extremely humid
WATER
WARNING: This device is not waterproof. Never use the monitor or the remote control with damp or wet hands.
Moisture can cause electric shock or short circuits. Do not expose the monitor or the remote control to rain or water to
avoid a short circuit. Close the windows and sunroof of your vehicle when it rains. Never pour liquids over or near the monitor or the remote control. There is a risk of electric shock! If liquid does get into the housing turn o the monitor.

BATTERY SAFETY
Do not place the remote control near a fire, or in direct sunlight. The heating of the device can cause additional heating, breaking, or ignition of the battery.
Do not attempt to charge the battery. This battery is not suitable for this. Do not attempt to modify or disassemble the battery. Do not use a battery that is damaged or deformed. Do not use your remote control if the battery begins to emit odour, starts to overheat, or begins
to leak. Do not touch any leaking materials or breathe fumes emitted from the battery. Leaking or
damaged batteries can lead to caustic burning of the skin. Therefore, use suitable protective gloves. A battery contains dangerous substances, do not open the battery or insert anything into an exposed battery. Do not allow children and animals to touch an exposed battery. Never throw the battery into a fire. Do not short-circuit the battery. A battery can explode or leak if shorted. An empty battery can still be dangerous. When handling the battery, make sure your hands, the product, and the battery are dry. To avoid accidental short-circuiting of the battery after removal, do not let the battery terminals come into contact with metal objects (e.g. coins, hairpins, rings). Do not wrap the battery in aluminium foil. Tape the battery terminals or put the battery in a plastic bag before you discard it. Do not swallow a battery. Immediately seek medical advice if a battery is swallowed. Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device before battery installation. Ensure that the battery is installed correctly concerning polarity (+ and -). Examine your device and make sure the battery compartment is correctly secured. If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the device and keep it away from children. Only replace the battery with the same size and the same type of battery. Use the battery within the recommended usage period. Keep the battery away from children, babies, or animals.

CLEANING
Put the power o before cleaning. The Cameras are waterproof and can be cleaned with water and a cloth. The monitor is not waterproof. A soft dry cloth is recommended for cleaning the exterior of the
monitor. Be careful not to put too much pressure on the display and buttons of the monitor or the
buttons of the remote controller while cleaning. Do not submerge the monitor and the remote control in water or any other liquids. It is not
allowed to rinse the devices with water, to prevent the water from leaking into the electrical circuit and causing malfunctions. Under no circumstances use aggressive cleaning agents, cleaning alcohol, or other chemical solutions since these can penetrate the housing or impair functionality. Do not use abrasive objects for cleaning. Cleaning must not be performed by children.
MAINTENANCE & SERVICE
Apart from occasional cleaning, the devices are maintenance-free. You may not reconstruct, self-repair, or disassemble the devices. Check regularly for damage and severe wear. Check the tightening of all screw connections regularly. If any clearance is detected, remove
it immediately by tightening the appropriate screws. Clearance occurrence in the screw connections is normal and is not covered by the warranty. Check the fixation of the devices regularly.
WARNINGS:
Do not attempt to open the devices for maintenance. Removing the housing or improper reassembly may cause electric shocks, damage, short circuit, or fire.
If for any reason you open the housing, the warranty will become null and void. The devices contain no user-serviceable or replaceable parts. Only the battery of the remote control can be replaced.
Maintenance, service, and repairs may only be carried out by the manufacturer, a professional workshop appointed by the manufacturer, or a similarly qualified person. To obtain maintenance or service, contact us first at our e-mail address info@strex.nl.

STORAGE & TRANSPORT
We advise cleaning the devices before long-term storage. Store the devices in a place not exposed to sunlight & humidity, and which is dust-free. Do not store the devices in extremely high or extremely low temperatures. This can damage the
devices. Store the devices and accessories beyond the reach of small children. Remove the battery from the remote control before long-term storage. Do not wrap the cables tightly around a device when storing. This causes undue strain on the
cables. Over time, this will damage the cables resulting in an unsafe condition for the user. Store the cables loosely coiled. Protect the devices against vibrations and shocks during transport. After transport or storage at very cold temperatures, the monitor must be accustomed to room
temperature for approx. 30 minutes due to possible condensation. After that, the monitor can be used.

DISPOSAL & RECYCLING
Device Disposal This product complies with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment Directive 2012/19/EU (WEEE). The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol on the appliance indicates that, at the end of its life, the product must be disposed of separately from normal household waste and taken to a separate collection centre for the recycling of electrical and electronic equipment or returned to the seller at the time a new similar device is purchased. The user is responsible for taking the device to a waste collection service at the end of its service life. Correct separate collection of waste with a view to subsequent recycling, processing, and environmentally friendly disposal of the device helps to prevent possible negative impacts on the environment and health and promotes the recycling of the materials of which the product is composed. The unlawful disposal of the product by the user results in administrative sanctions as stipulated by law. For more detailed information on the recycling of this product and the collection systems available, please contact your local waste disposal service or the shop where you purchased the product. Comply with your legal obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.

Battery Disposal The handling and, in particular, disposal of batteries and accumulators are subject to defined regulations, which have become binding on the part of the European Commission through the European Battery Directive 2006/66/EC. The remote control contains a CR2025 Lithium battery that cannot be disposed of with normal household waste. The battery should be recycled following your local regulations. Remove the battery from the device before disposal. If battery removal is not possible, dispose of small electrical appliances with batteries in an electrical appliance collection bin. As an end consumer, you are legally obliged to hand in all empty batteries following small chemical waste regulations.
Packing Material Disposal Please follow the notes and markings on the packaging. Ensure that plastic bags, packaging, etc. are properly disposed of. Do not just dispose of these materials with your normal household waste, but make sure they are collected for recycling.

WARRANTY & LIABILITY
STREX guarantees that for one year from the date of purchase, this product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty applies to products used for personal purposes, and not for commercial or rental purposes. STREX, at its discretion, will replace or repair this product or any component of the product found to be defective during the warranty period. Replacement will be made with a new or refurbished product or component. If the product is no longer available, a replacement may be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. Your replacement unit will be returned to you for no charge and will be covered under this warranty for the balance of the warranty period.
This warranty is valid for the original purchaser from the date of initial purchase and is not transferrable. Proof of purchase is required to obtain support under the warranty.
This warranty does not cover: negligent use or misuse of the product; use with incorrect voltage or current; damage resulting from falls; water damage; use contrary to the operating instructions; disassembly, repair, or modification by anyone other than STREX; damage caused by accidents or disasters, such as fire, ood, earthquake, war, vandalism, or
theft; damage caused by incorrect maintenance and storage; damage caused by incorrect installation; damage caused by incorrect connections; accessories such as batteries; change of colour that might happen over time; normal wear and tear.
Damage caused by failure to observe this manual will void the warranty. We do not accept any liability for consequential damage. We accept no liability for material damage or personal injury caused by improper use or failure to observe the safety instructions. In such cases, the warranty becomes void.
STREX reserves the right to make changes at any time, without notice or obligation, in colours, specifications, accessories, materials, and models.
