Initial Operation

Weather Station Setup:

Open battery compartment: insert 2 AA batteries ( observe polarity).
On insertion, LCD lights up for 3 seconds with a beep; starts measuring indoor temperature and humidity.

Connect adapter to AC socket 8 on the device; plug into AC outlet for continuous backlight.

Remote Sensor Connection:
Weather Station begins connecting to the outdoor remote sensor, indicated by a flashing reception antenna symbol in the« OUTDOOR» area of the display. This takes up to 3 minutes.

Remote Sensor Setup:

Open sensor’s battery compartment.
Set channel switch to « 1 »; insert 2 AA batteries ( observe polarity). Repeat for channels « 2 »or« 3 » for additional sensors.
After all sensors are connected, the station enters Radio Control mode.

After receiver has created 3 remote sensor connections, it will enter the Radio control re ceive mode.

Radio Signal Reception

Automatic Search:
Post-reset or battery change, the clock automatically searches for the DCF signal after 3minutes.

Daily Synchronization:
At 1:00, 2:00, and 3:00 AM, automatic synchronization attempts with DCF signal. If unsuccess full (icon disappears), retries occur hourly, up to 5times.

Manual Reception:

Initiate by pressing and holding the« -» button for 3 seconds. If no signal within 7 minutes, the search stops (icon disappears) and resumes at the next full hour.
To cancel manual search, press the«-» button once.

Signal Indicators and Recommendations:

Flashing Icon: Indicates ongoing search for DCF signal.
Steady Icon: Confirms successful DCF signal reception.

Placement: Maintain a minimum distance of 2.5 meters (8.2 feet) from interference sources (TVs, monitors, adapters).
Backlight: Turns off automatically during DCF signal reception.
Concrete Walls: For better reception in rooms with concrete walls, position the system near a window.

Functional Notes During RC Mode:

Limited Button Use: Only« LIGHT/SNZ »and”-” buttons are functional.
Exiting RC Mode: Press the« -» button to exit and restore full functionality.

Manual Time Setting

Press and hold the« SET» button for 2 seconds, the« ON/OFF» indicator will flash. Use the«+» and« -» buttons to set the radio control function ON or OFF.
Press the« SET» button to confirm the setting and move to the next item.
The sequence of setting items is as follows:

RCC ON/OFF-> 12/24HR ->Time zone-> Hour-> Minute-> Month/Date format-> Year-> Month -> Date -> Language-> Weather forecast pattern -> Pressure unit (hPa/mb or inHg) -> Local Standard Pressure Value.
When adjusting values, press and hold the«+» or« -» button for quick adjustments. Press the« SET» button to confirm the last item and return to normal mode. If selecting the 12- hour format, «PM» indicates post meridiem.
If there is no valid operation within 20 seconds, the device will automatically return to normal time mode from the set mode.

Setting the daily alarms

Press the button to set Alarm 1 and /or Alarm 2 ON or OFF – the absence of these symbols means the corresponding alarm is OFF.
Press the «ALARM» button once to display Alarm 1 time press it again to show Alarm 2 time then return to the current time display.

To set Alarm 1 time, press and hold the« ALARM» button for 2 seconds until the Hour starts flashing. Use the«+ »or«-» buttons to adjust the required Hour.
Press the «ALARM» button to confirm the setting and move to the next item in the following sequence: Hour of Alarm 1-> Minute of Alarm 1.
The same method can be applied to set Alarm 2 time.

F.Y.I.:

If there is no valid operation within 20 seconds, the device will automatically return to normal time mode from the alarm time set mode.
When adjusting the value, press and hold the«+» or« -» button for continuous and quick adjustments.

If the alarm is not deactivated by pressing any button, it will sound for 2 minutes and then automatically reset to sound again after24 hours.
The alarm features a crescendo effect, where the tempo increases in four stages during the duration of the alarm signal.

Switching off the alarm signal
When the alarm is ringing, press any button except the« LIGHT/SNZ »button to stop the alarm sound. Note: It will ring again the next day.

Snooze function
When the alarm is ringing, touch the« LIGHT/SNZ » button once to activate the snooze mode. Once the set snooze time is over, the alarm will ring again after 8 minutes.

RF Transmission Procedure

The main unit automatically receives temperature and humidity data from the remote sensor after battery insertion.

The remote sensor automatically transmits temperature and humidity data to the main unit after battery insertion.
If the main unit fails to receive transmission from the remote sensor (displaying« – -.-» on the LCD), press and hold the« CH» button for 2 seconds, and the RF icon will flash. The main unit will rescan the channel’s launch signal.
The main unit can receive signals from up to 3 channels. Press the« CH» button to switch and display data from different channels. The data of different channels will be automatically displayed every 5 seconds when the« symbol appears.

Query Maximum/minimum numerical value

The main unit records the maximum and minimum temperature/humidity. Values shown on the LCD.
Press the « MEM » button once to display the maximum temperature/humidity value, and press it again to show the minimum value when the maximum value is displayed.

The LCD will indicate« MAX» or« MIN » simultaneously.
The maximum and minimum values of temperature and humidity will be recorded when the « MEM » button is pressed and held for 3 seconds.
To reset the maximum/minimum values, press and hold the«+» button for 3 seconds.

The memory value for the day will automatically clear at 0:00 every night.

°C /°F unit transfer
Press thebutton to select °C or °F units.

Ice alert
The symbol appears and flashes when the remote sensor’s temperature is between -1.0°C to 2.9°C (30.2° F to 37.3°F).

Weather forecasting function

Warning: Consider weather forecasts from both your local weather service and the weather station. Follow the advice of the local weather service ifthere are discrepancies.
The weather forecast is based on barometric pressure fluctuations and may differ from actual conditions.

The weather station displays various weather symbols. The weather symbols indicate the weather fluctuation over the next 8 hours and not the current weather.

Comfort level

Drying: Humidity is less than 40% at any temperature.
Comfort: Temperature is between 20-28°C (68-82.4°F) with humidity between 40-70%.
Wet: Humidity is greater than 70% at any temperature.

F.Y.I.: When the temperature is outside the range of20-28°C (68-82.4°F) or humidity is not within 40-70%, no comfort display is shown.

Barometric pressure trend display

↑The barometric pressure is rising.

↓The barometric pressure is falling-

lf there is no arrow trend, it means the barometric pressure is steadying.

Background lighting

With the adapter used for power supply, press the« SET» button to adjust the backlight brightness.
When powered only by batteries (without the adapter), touch the« LIGHT/SNZ » button once to activate the backlight for 15 seconds.
