2.1. Electrical safety
CAUTION! Follow the electrical safety rules when the appliance is powered from the mains.
a) The power supply/charger cord plug must fit into the mains outlet. Do not modify the plug in any way. Original power cord plugs and matching mains outlets reduce the risk of electric shock.
b) Do not use the power supply/charger cord in any unintended way. Never use it to carry the appliance or to unplug it from the mains outlet. Keep the power cord away from sources of heat, oil, sharp edges or moving parts. Damaged or tangled cords increase the risk of electric shock.

DISPLAY OVERVIEW
The product features two displays, one in the front and one in the rear. The displays indicate:
- weight;
- unit price;
- total price.
3.2. Preparations for operation
POSITIONING THE APPLIANCE
The maximum ambient temperature and relative humidity limits not to be exceeded are +40°C and 85% RH, respectively. Keep the appliance away from any hot surfaces. Always operate the appliance on a level, firm, clean, fireproof, and dry surface and out of the reach of children and individuals with reduced mental, sensory and intellectual capacities.
3.3. Operating the appliance
Install the batteries in the battery compartment in the rear of the checkweigher before operation. Mind the polarity.
3.3.1. TURNING THE PRODUCT ON/OFF:
- Press the power switch
to turn off the product. The display shows “0” directly afterwards.
- Place an object on the platter.
- Wait for the displayed reading to stabilise itself.
- When done weighing, press and hold the power switch to turn off the product.
3.3.2. FUNCTION KEYS:
TARE This function helps to weigh only the mass of the contents inside of a container.
- Place the container on the checkweigher.
- Press the TARE key. The display should read “0”.
- Place the contents to be weighed in the container.
MODE – weight unit selection (each key press shifts to the next unit)
STORE, M1 and M2 – reading value memory
- Press the STORE key (do this only when the display shows “0”).
- The Total Price on the display should read “SAUE” (Save).
- Enter the price using the numerical keypad.
- Press M1 or M2. The value will be stored under M1 or M2.
ADD – value addition
- Place an object on the checkweigher and enter the price (it will be shown in the Unit Price on the display).
- Press the ADD key, remove the object, and press any numerical key.
- Place another object on the checkweigher.
- Enter the object’s price.
- Press the ADD key.
You can add the values for up to 200 separate objects.
CLR – deletes all value inputs
PCS – piece counting
- Press and hold PSC, and press MODE briefly to choose the quantity (25/50/75/100).
- Place the number of pieces selected in the previous step on the checkweigher.
- Press the PSC key again.
- Place the pieces to be counted again on the checkweigher.
- The display will read the actual quantity.
3.3.3. DISPLAYED MESSAGES:
“O_Ld”: overloaded
“LO”: low battery
“Pass”: calibration successful
3.3.4. CALIBRATION:
- Turn on the checkweigher.
- Simultaneously press and hold M1, M2, and PCS for 3 seconds. The display will read 2 kg.
- Press MODE to select 2, 5, or 10 kg.
- Press the power switch to confirm the selection. The display will show “CAL ” and the selected value begins to flash.
- Place an object on the checkweigher the weight of which has been selected in the previous steps.
- If the calibration is successful, the display reads “ PASS”.
- Press the power switch to restore normal operation.
3.4. Cleaning and maintenance
a) Store the appliance in a dry and cool place, protected from moisture and direct sunlight.
b) Do not spray the appliance with a stream of water and do not immerse it in water.
c) Regularly inspect the appliance for technical defects and damage.
d) Remove the battery from the appliance if you do not intend to use it for a long time.
e) Use a soft, damp cloth for cleaning.
f) Do not clean with any sharp and/or metal implements (e.g. a wire brush or a metal scraper) as these may damage the surface of the appliance.
SAFE DISPOSAL OF DISPOSABLE/RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES
The appliance is intended for 1.5 V AAA batteries.
Remove the spent batteries from the appliance in the reverse order of installation.
Return the spent batteries to an approved and responsible waste disposal service.
