Note: When the ring is placed in the charging case and the ring indicator light blinks in red, it indicates that charging has started.

MYVU APP is compatible with both Android and iOS devices.
Compatible Systems: iOS 16.1 or later, HM 2.0 or later, Android 11.0 or later.

Connecting the Ring to MYVU APP

Binding with the Ring
Turn on Bluetooth on your phone, open MYVU APP – log in to your account – bind device – select bind StarV Ring2, and follow the prompts to bind with the ring.
Attention:
· If you are connecting a new ring for the first time, place the ring in the charging case and connect the USB cable to activate the ring;
· A solid red light on the ring indicates that activation is successful, after which you can start connecting.

Connecting to the Ring
After successful binding, the ring will automatically connect when powered on, without having to bind again.
Attention: When the connected device is out of range, the ring will automatically disconnect. It will reconnect when in proximity again.
In Case of Unsuccessful Connection, Troubleshoot as Follows:
· Ensure the ring is activated.
· Check if the Bluetooth on your phone is turned on.
· Check if the APP’s Bluetooth permissions are enabled.
· Try to keep the phone and the ring as close as possible.

Proper Wearing of the Ring

For the best interactive control experience. Please wear the ring on your index finger as per usage habits. If the ring is only used as an accessory, it can be worn on any fingers.
Choose the ring size that fits your finger to avoid wearing it too tightly or too loosely.
If you experience symptoms such as redness or swelling at the wearing spot, take off the ring immediately and consult a doctor.
For manual measurement of heart rate, blood oxygen, or blood glucose, stay still to obtain more accurate data.
If you experience difficulty removing the ring, try wetting your finger with cold water and mild soap and slowly rotating the ring to remove it.

Please wear the ring on your index finger as per usage habits.
With the touch area and indicator light facing your thumb.

The sensor bump should face your finger pad.

Before using this product, please check if your finger matches the size of this product. Wear the ring at a proper place on your finger and make sure the size is correct to avoid injury.

The ring body has an IP68 waterproof rating as defined in the IEC 60529 standard and can be worn during shallow water activities such as swimming in a pool or shallow water. The waterproof function of the ring body is not permanently effective and may diminish due to daily wear and tear. It is not suitable for use in seawater, diving, hot water baths, hot springs, saunas, or under high-speed water flow. Please strictly follow the above instructions regarding waterproofing.

Otherwise, any damage caused to the product will be the user’s responsibility.
Do not place the device in direct sunlight, such as on a car dashboard or windowsill. Do not place the device near heat sources or open fire, such as electric heaters, microwaves, ovens, water heaters, stoves, candles, or other places that may generate high temperatures.

Safety Information

Do not use this product at gas stations or near any flammable and explosive substances. In places explicitly prohibiting the use of wireless devices (such as medical and health facilities), do not use this product and turn off the device and accessories, as they may interfere with other electronic devices or cause other dangers.
Contains magnets. Please keep credit cards, implanted medical devices, and other devices that may be affected by magnets away from this product. Ensure that this product is at least 15cm away from medical devices.

Device Safety

Do not use inferior power adapters to avoid damaging the product or causing personal or property harm.
Keep the charging case and device dry while charging, and do not touch the charging case or power source with wet hands, as this may cause a short circuit or injury.
Do not disassemble, reassemble, modify, attempt to repair the product yourself, or have it repaired by an unauthorized agency. If the device has an obvious fault (even if the fault may not affect some functions’ normal operation), stop using the product immediately to avoid electric shock or serious injury or death.
This product is made with highly precise technologies, and some materials are ceramic. Please avoid throwing, tossing, or dropping it, and avoid strong external impacts to prevent damage to the product. If the product is dropped, squeezed, or damaged by an
external impact, stop using it immediately, as this may result in injury.
This product is not responsible for any damage or personal injury caused by improper or unsafe usage.

Maintenance and Care
When not using the ring, please place it in the charging case to prevent loss and to ensure timely charging. Please keep the product dry. Do not dry them with heating devices such as microwave ovens or hair dryers.
Do not place the product under excessively high or low temperatures, as this may lead to malfunction, fire, or explosion. Before cleaning and maintenance, stop using the product, close all applications, and disconnect all connections or cables to other devices. Do not use hazardous chemicals, cleaning agents, or corrosive detergents to clean the product. Use a clean, dry, soft cloth to wipe the product.
Do not disassemble or modify the product by yourself, as this will void the warranty. If the product fails, please contact authorized service center.

Battery Safety

Do not attempt to replace, disassemble, modify, burn the battery, insert foreign objects, or immerse it in water or other liquids to avoid damaging the battery, leakage, overheating, fire, or explosion, which may result in personal injury.
Do not drop, compress, or puncture the battery. Avoid subjecting the battery to external pressure, which may cause internal short circuits and overheating.
This product is equipped with a non-removable built-in battery.
Do not attempt to replace the battery yourself to avoid damaging the battery or the ring.
Batteries must be recycled or disposed of separately and must not be mixed with regular household waste.
Please dispose of used batteries in accordance with local regulations.
Note: batteries can only be replaced by Xingji Meizu or Xingji Meizu authorized service providers. Replacing the battery with an incorrect model may pose an explosion risk.

Friendly Reminder

Defects occurring in the product during normal use are eligible for free repair within 12 months from the date of purchase. However, if you purchase the product from within the EU or EFTA, the warranty period shall be 24 months.
lf you are unable to provide a valid proof of purchase, your warranty period will start 90 days after the product’s manufacturing date as provided by the manufacturer.
Repairs beyond the warranty period and damages caused by unauthorized disassembly / repairs will incur corresponding charges.
Regular system software updates are necessary to maintain optimal performance. Some malfunctions can be resolved after system software updates, and utilizing the system update service will not affect the original warranty rights of the device. Please keep the device turned on during the update and maintain a stable internet connection.
