Product Usage Instructions

Pairing the Remote Mic

The Remote Mic must be paired with compatible 2.4 GHz hearing
aids with the G2 Neuro Processor for interaction.

Pairing within Pro Fit Software:

  1. Launch Pro Fit and connect hearing aids.
  2. Select Accessories from the Preparation Session or Flyout
    Menu.
  3. Follow on-screen instructions for pairing the Remote Mic.
  4. Ensure Remote Mic is powered on and place it near hearing
    aids.
  5. Press and hold the pairing button for 2 seconds until LED
    blinks green.
  6. Complete pairing when Remote Mic image displays on the
    screen.
  7. Adjust settings for streaming sound if needed.

Pairing outside of the software:

  1. Power off any previously paired devices.
  2. Power on the Remote Mic and hearing aids in pairing mode.
  3. Press and hold the pairing button on the Remote Mic for 2
    seconds.
  4. Wait for solid green LED indication on successful pairing for
    each hearing aid.

How it Works

The Remote Mic enhances speech and facilitates conversations. It
can also function as a remote control.

To begin streaming from the Remote Mic:

  1. Power on the Remote Mic.
  2. Streaming starts automatically in the hearing aids.
  3. Power off the Remote Mic to stop streaming.

To use the Remote Mic as a remote control:

  1. Use +/- buttons to adjust volume.
  2. Press and hold +/- buttons to change the hearing aid
    program.

Sleep Mode:

If out of range for 30 minutes, the Remote Mic enters sleep mode
and can be reactivated by a button push or turning it off and
on.

FAQ

Q: How do I know when pairing is successful?

A: The LED on the Remote Mic will turn solid green for 2 seconds
when pairing completes on each hearing aid.

Q: How can I adjust the streaming volume?

A: When powered on, use the +/- buttons on the Remote Mic to
change the streaming volume.

Pairing
The Remote Mic must be paired to interact with compatible 2.4 GHz hearing aids with the G2 Neuro Processor. Pairing occurs once, then the hearing aids and Remote Mic will automatically recognize each other. The Remote Mic can be paired within the fitting software or outside of the fitting software.

Pairing within Pro Fit

1 Launch Pro Fit and connect hearing aids.

2 Select Accessories from the Preparation Session in Pro Fit or from the Flyout Menu .

3 Select How to Pair Accessories for pairing instructions if needed.

4 Ensure the Remote Mic is powered on.

5 Place the hearing aids within six inches of the Remote Mic.

6 Press and hold the pairing button for 2 seconds. The LED will blink green.

7 Select to put the hearing aids into pairing mode.

8 Pairing is successful when the Remote Mic image displays on the accessory screen.

9 Use the dropdown menu below the Remote Mic

to set “Hearing Aid Mic While Streaming.”

optimize streaming sound. Options are Equalized (default),

Treble Boost, Bass Boost, and Overall Boost.

Power On Slide the switch toward the LED. The LED will illuminate white for 2 seconds. Power Off Slide the switch away from the LED. The LED will illuminate red for 2 seconds. Orange will be seen next to the switch.

Pairing
Pairing outside of the software 1 Power off any mobile phone or other accessories
that were previously paired with the hearing aids. 2 Ensure the Remote Mic is powered on. 3 Power off, then power on the hearing aids
to place in pairing mode. 4 Place the hearing aids within six inches
of the Remote Mic.

5 Press and hold the pairing button for 2 seconds. The LED will blink green.
6 Within a minute, the LED will turn solid green for 2 seconds when pairing completes on each hearing aid.

How it Works

The Remote Mic is designed to enhance speech and help the hearing aid wearer enjoy conversations with another person. The Remote Mic can also be used as a remote control.

To begin streaming from the Remote Mic: 1 Ensure the Remote Mic is powered on by sliding the switch toward the LED.
The LED will illuminate white for 2 seconds. 2 Streaming starts automatically in the hearing aids. 3 When finished, power off the Remote Mic to stop streaming.
Audio streaming will stop when: · The Remote Mic is powered off. · A phone call is received via a direct mobile phone stream into the hearing aids. After the phone call concludes,
the stream will automatically restart. · If the user momentarily walks out of range of the Remote Mic (up to 50 feet or 15 meters) streaming stops,
but will restart when back within range. If out of range for 30 minutes, the Remote Mic will enter sleep mode and will wake up with any button push or by turning the Remote Mic off and on.
To use the Remote Mic as a remote control: 1 Press the +/- buttons to change volume. When the Remote Mic is powered on,
the +/- buttons will change the streaming volume. When powered off, the +/- buttons will change the hearing aid volume. 2 Press and hold the +/- buttons for 2 seconds to change the hearing aid program. Press + to change the program forward. Press – to change the program backward.

Use
· The Remote Mic can be paired to one pair of LE Audio 2.4 GHz hearing aids with the G2 Neuro Processor.
· The Remote Mic can be clipped to clothing or worn on a lanyard.
· Place the Remote Mic close to the audio source for optimal results. The Remote Mic should be within eight inches (20 cm) of the speaker’s mouth.
· The Remote Mic can stream for 10 hours and takes up to 3 hours to fully recharge.

· When the Remote Mic battery is low, the LED status indicator will slowly pulse red and an audible indicator of 3 tones will play in the hearing aids.
· The Remote Mic will momentarily mute if dropped and will resume streaming once the device is stabilized.
· Stream volume can be adjusted via the controls on the Remote Mic, hearing aid mobile app, the Remote Control 2.0 and/or the hearing aid user controls.
