This manual describes the installation, configuration, and operation of the U-PROX Keypad G1 a compact, wireless keypad designed for arming and disarming your U-PROX security system, as well as for viewing device status and receiving alarms. Users can enter a digital code to select functions such as “Arm,” “Disarm,” or “Partial Arm.” The “OK” button allows status viewing without activating any commands.
WARNING: RISK OF EXPLOSION IF BATTERIES ARE REPLACED WITH AN INCORRECT TYPE. Dispose of used batteries according to national regulations.

Choose a location with optimal wireless signal strength (minimum 1 m from the security center). Avoid areas with extreme humidity, high temperatures, or heavy radio interference that may hinder signal reception.

- Re-Mounting: Remove the keypad and remount it using the provided screws and dowels on the new mounting plate.

Registration and Configuration
Place the keypad within 2 m of the U-PROX MPX security center during registration to ensure a strong signal.
- Launch the U-PROX Installer App: Open the mobile application and follow the on-screen instructions to register the keypad with your security center.
- Tlhophiso: Set up parameters such as user codes, arming/disarming actions, and forced codes (for silent alarms) via the app.

6.1 Ho Sebelisa Keypad
- Code Entry: Enter your user code; once the first digit is pressed, the indicator lights will activate.
- Action Selection: Press the corresponding button to arm, disarm, or partially arm the system. Use the “OK” button to view the current system status without triggering any action.
- Error Reset: If an incorrect code is entered, press the “Cancel” button to reset your input.
6.2 Changing the User Code
- Press and hold the “OK” button until you hear an audible signal.
- Press the button labeled “4” and enter your existing code.
- Enter the new code twice for confirmation.
- Forced Code (Silent Alarm): For each user code, an additional forced code is automatically generated (by incrementing the last digit by one, e.g., 258238 becomes 258239).
- If five unsuccessful attempts are made, the keypad will lock for 10 minutes.

TLHOKOMELISO: Use only the recommended alkaline (LR03) AAA batteries. Do not use non-approved battery types.
- Remove the keypad from its mounting using a plastic card.
- Open the battery compartment by gently prying apart the top and bottom covers.
- Replace the two AAA batteries, ensuring the correct polarity.
- Reassemble and remount the keypad.
