1. Khokelo ea Matla
Connect the power cord to the machine and then to a 110-volt electrical outlet. Ensure the foot control is also connected to the machine.

Proper threading is crucial for optimal stitch quality. Follow these steps:
- Place a spool of thread onto the spool pin. Ensure the thread unwinds smoothly.

- Guide the thread through the upper thread guides and tension discs as indicated by the numbered path on the machine.
- Thread the needle from front to back. The automatic needle threader can assist with this step.

3. Winding and Inserting the Bobbin
Refer to the Quick Start Guide for detailed instructions on winding the bobbin and correctly inserting it into the bobbin case.

1. Khetho ea Stitch
Turn the stitch selector dial to choose from the 23 available stitch patterns. Ensure the needle is in its highest position before changing stitches.

Use the length and width dials to fine-tune your chosen stitch. Experiment with different settings on scrap fabric to achieve the desired result.
3. Using the Presser Foot Lifter
The extra-high presser foot lifter allows for easy placement and removal of multiple layers of fabric or bulky materials under the presser foot.
4. Sewing a Buttonhole
Attach the buttonhole foot. Follow the markings on the foot and the machine's instructions for a four-step buttonhole process.

Replace the needle regularly, especially if it becomes bent, dull, or if you notice skipped stitches. Use the screwdriver to loosen the needle clamp screw, insert a new needle with the flat side facing the back, and tighten the screw.
