Product Usage Instructions:
Installation:
- Mounting: Mount the RS6 Switcher module on the
firewall or a panel in the vehicle for accessibility. - Layout: Crimp power and ground wires of
accessories to the provided power pigtails. - Routing: Route the connected pigtails to the
RS6 switcher module location based on wire ratings. - Connecting Output Harness: Plug in the Output
harness to the 6-pin connector on the RS6 switcher module. - Icon Insert Selection: Select and insert icon
inserts into the silicone push button membrane of the RS6 Switcher
Controllers. - Dashboard Installation: Route the cable and
insert the RS6 Switcher Controllers into empty rocker switch
openings on the dashboard. - Controller Connection: Plug in the RS6
Switcher controllers to the matching connectors on the Power and
Switch harness. - Pulse Busbar (Optional): Connect Pulse
connector pigtail to Power Input Harness if applicable. - Grounding: Connect ground cable to
power/ground block harness and secure it to a suitable
location. - Main Power Connection: Connect the main power
cable to the RS6 Switcher module using provided hardware. - Terminal Protection: Slide on the rubber
terminal boot onto the terminal post for protection.

INSTALLATION
A
A. Mount the RS6 Switcher module on the firewall or a panel in the vehicle where it can be accessible to plug in harnesses.

B. Layout the accessories/devices that will be installed and crimp their power and ground wires to the provided power pigtails (B-H2992).

C. Route the pigtails connected to the devices power and ground wires to the RS6 switcher module location. Yellow wires are rated at 30A each and Red wires are rated at 25A each.

D. Plug in the Output harness (B-H3137) to the 6-pin connector on the RS6 switcher module.

E. Select the icon inserts and press in the icon insert into the silicone push button membrane. Note that button one is on top when reading the SWITCHWORKS logo on the controller. This is important when programming for settings.

F. Route the cable and Insert the RS6 Switcher Controllers into empty rocker switch openings on the dashboard.
INSTALLATION

G. Plug in the RS6 Switcher controllers to the matching connectors on the Power and Switch harness (B-H3013).

H. If the vehicle is equipped with a Pulse busbar, crimp the provided Pulse connector pigtail to the Power Input Harness (B-H3413), otherwise skip to the next step.

I. If the vehicle does not have the Pulse busbar, crimp the provided ring terminals to the Power Input Harness (B-H3413).

J. Connect the provided ground cable to the power/ground block harness and tap the other end of the ground cable to ground. Find a location to secure the ground block harness.

K. Plug in the Power and Switch harness to the 16-pin connector on the RS6 switcher module.

L. Slide the rubber boot onto the provided 4 gauge power wire.

INSTALLATION

M. Connect the main power cable to the RS6 Switcher module using the provided M8 bolt and split washer.

N. Slide on the rubber terminal boot (B-H3569) to the terminal post to protect from shorts.

O. For vehicles with the Pulse busbar, plug in the Pulse Connector Pigtail (B-H1752), crimped on step H, to the busbar.

P. For vehicles with the terminal post style busbar, connect the ring terminals crimped on step I to the busbar.

Q1. Remove the bottom cover of the fuse holder Q2. Extract both fuse holder screws and fasten by extracting the 2 screws. Break off the right the fuse. and left side tabs on the bottom cover.
Q3. Attach both the Power Wire and Battery Terminal Cable to the fuse holder. Reattach the bottom cover.
INSTALLATION
P. Connect the power and ground wires to the battery.

Q. Zip tie all of the electrical cabling (factory and audio) along the center column away from the drive shaft.
PROGRAMMING
SWITCH Works 2-Button Contoller
The SWITCH Works Sierra6 2-Button Controller features user programmable buttons on each controller to control electrical devices. Outputs can be set to LATCH, STROBE, MOMENTARY, LATCH/HOLD TO STROBE and FLASH. Each Output can then be set to trigger on BATTERY or ACCESSORY power. 9 LED backlight colors to choose from to match the dash lights or create a unique color for each button.

NOTE:
Button 1 is on top when reading the SWITCHWORKS logo on the controller. This is important when programming for settings.
PROGRAMMING
ICON INSERTS The SWITCH Works Sierra6 Electronic Switcher kit includes 40 interchangeable icon inserts for different electrical devices. Simply cut off the icon insert from the icon tree and insert it into the silicone push button membrane. The icon inserts are designed for backlighting for better visibility.
SWITCH Works 2-Button Controller Settings
SWITCH Works 2-Button Controller Settings Follow the steps below to program the Output Settings, Trigger Settings and Backlight Color Settings.
Note that you can use any of the controllers to go into programming mode.
Output Settings
Turn on ACC power and within 3 seconds, press and hold button 1 for 3 seconds. Buttons on all 3 controllers will flash green 3 times. You are now in programming mode.

Setting Flash Strobe Latch/Hold to Strobe Latch Momentary
Assign the Output Setting to each controller button. Quick press buttons 1 and 2 on any of the controllers at the same time to save the setting. Cycle ACC Off/On to lock in the settings.
NOTE: Programming mode will time out and buttons will flash red if no button is pressed within 8 seconds.

Trigger Settings
Turn on ACC power and within 3 seconds, press and hold button 2 for 3 seconds. Buttons on all 3 controllers will flash green 3 times. You are now in programming mode.

Setting Battery Power Accessory Power
Assign the Trigger Setting to each controller button. Quick press buttons 1 and 2 on any of the controllers at the same time to save the setting. Cycle ACC Off/On to lock in the settings.
NOTE: Programming mode will time out and buttons will flash red if no button is pressed within 8 seconds.
Backlight Color Settings Turn on ACC power and within 3 seconds, press and hold buttons 1 & 2 at the same time for 3 seconds. Buttons on all 3 controllers will flash green 3 times. You are now in programming mode. Available colors are:
White, Red, Amber, Blue, Orange, Magenta, Yellow, Green and Cyan
