LVIV-B2 cannot be mounted arbitrary, because of the radio communication. If a metal enclosure is required, one of the external antenna options has to be used.
Module variants with U.FL connector for external antenna

Module Placement
LVIV-B2 modules with U.FL connector for external antennas can be placed anywhere on the PCB. Suitable and certified external antennas and adapter cables are listed in the LVIV-B2 Data Sheet as well as in a separate document “LVIVC-B2_module_family_certified_antennas.pdf
Module variants with internal antenna

Module Placement:
The unit with an internal surface mounted antenna (SE-NOBS-B2i-**) cannot be mounted in a metal enclosure. No metal casing or plastics using metal flakes should be used, avoid also metallic based paint or lacquer. Keep a minimum clearance of 5 mm between the antenna and the casing. Keep minimum 10 mm free space from metal around the antenna including under and above. LVIV-B2 modules with internal antenna must be placed on the edge of the PCB. At least the specified region beneath the internal antenna must be free from any copper in all layers (except for LVIV-B2 SMT pads on the Top Layer).
