SonoFF Dongle-M Zigbee Thread PoE Dongle
Product Introduction
SONOFF Dongle Max is a Zigbee gateway developed based on ESP32D0+EFR32MG24,designed to connect Zigbee sub-devices to open-source platforms like Home Assistant and Zigbee2MQTT. It supports PoE power supply and offers multiple connectivity options,making it adaptable to various usage scenarios.
Through the mDNS domain name, users can access the device’s WEB console to perform operations such as firmware updates and switching between different working modes.
Additionally, it integrates powerful features such as Webhooks, eWeLink-Remote Gateways,MQTT, VPN, and a one-click Turbo mode.

Ethernet Connection
PoE Power Supply
- The router or switch must support PoE power supply, or purchase a PoE power supply module separately.
- If PoE is not supported, use the Type-C port to power the device.
Ethernet + Type-C Power Supply
USB Connection
Use the included Type-C USB cable to connect the device to a computer’s USB port and use it as a USB Dongle.
Wi-Fi Connection
Connect wirelessly via your home Wi-Fi network.

Device Installation
- Attach the device using double-sided tape.
- Use screws to secure the bracket, then mount the device onto the bracket.
Access the WEB Console
After the device is connected to the network, open a browser in the same LAN, enter Dongle-M.local to access the WEB console, and follow the instructions to configure it to ZHA or Z2M. A password needs to be set for the first access.
