CREATING THE ENCODED MIFARE DESFIRE CARD

1. Close “Custom encoder PROX-USB-X” APP if it is running.
2. Plug the desktop reader PROX-USB-X into the PC.
3. Run the “PROX-USB-X Configurator” APP and configure the reader with the necessary encryption.
4. Close the APP.
5. Run “Custom encoder PROX-USB-X” APP.
6. Write the number in the “Start ID” field.
7. Place the DESFire card on the reader.
8. Click on the “Encode card”.

If everything is in order, the card will be encoded and the number in the “Start ID” will be increased by one in case you need to encode a second card.
If you want to erase the card, place it on the reader and click “Format (erase) card”. Note that if there are other Applications on the card, they will be erased too.
