1. Introduction

Thank you for purchasing our product Vtimes RCVT070, please read this user guide thoroughly before operating and keep it for future reference.

The Digital Wireless Backup Camera System RCVT070 will improve your ability to see behind your car, pickup truck , camper, travel trailer, tractor, fifth wheel trailer or motorhome more safer and easier. We have taken numerous measures to ensure that your product is delivered in top condi­tion and will perform to your satisfaction.

With a 120-degree wide-angle view, this high-definition camera records video that is very clear and helps you avoid blind places when parking or reversing. With an IP69K rating for waterproofing and a strong build, the Vtimes RCVT070 is made to survive harsh weather and work reliably anywhere. It also has an infraed night vision function for better viewing at night.

2. Important Safety Instructions

  • If you are not confident working with lOV/ 32V DC vehicle wiring, contact your vehicle manufacturer or your nearest retailer/ installer to get a professional installation. Improper installation will void manufacture warranty.
  • Do not watch movies or operate the monitor while driving; as it may cause an accident.
  • The camera system is only as an aid. It is not a substitute for your atten­tion to the surroundings. The responsibility for safe driving and parking remains with you.
  • The camera system should not be opened. Any attempt at modification or repair by the user will void the warranty.
  • Do not install the monitor where it may obstruct drivers view or obstruct an air bag device.
  •  Use this product within the voltage range specified. Failure to do so can cause electronic shock or product malfunction.

3. Important Maintenance Instructions

  • Clean the Camera Lens: Regularly clean the camera lens to ensure clear visibility. Use a soft cloth and avoid abrasive materials that could scratch the lens.
  • Check for Loose Connections: Periodically check the camera and moni­tor connections to ensure they are secure and working correctly.
  • Protect the Wireless camera: Ensure the wireless transmitter is properly protected from extreme weather conditions.
  • Store Properly: When not in use, store the monitor and camera in a cool, dry place to prevent damage.
  • Check for Damage: Inspect the camera and monitor for any physical damage. If you notice any cracks, water intrusion, or malfunctioning, replace the damaged part immediately.

4. Friendly Tips

Vtimes – Digital Wireless Backup Camera System- RCVT070 is supplied with one camera and one 7 inch HD monitor only. The camera is configured as Channel 2 rear view and paried with monitor already before ex-facctory. It can immedately use when powered on the system after mounting both monitor and camera on the vehicles.

However, it can further installed up to four cameras system. Additional camera can be purchased separately. Figure 1 shows the general view of four cameras fully installed.

Note: The CH2 channel -Rear view was configured and paired with one camera only in Model RCVTO70 (Fig.2).

Another friendly feature allows you to turn on the guild line mode ON and OFF by pressing button as your option shown in Figure 3. It provides an option for how you want to watch things while parking or backing up.

TF Card Friendly Tips:

A The TF card is NOT included;please prepare one yourself.

1. Insert the TF card into the recorder cardslot. NOTE:Please use high speed TF card (Class 10 or above),capacity not less than 8GB while TF card supports 128GB maximum.
2.Fix the recorderon the center console of the car.
3.Please format the TF card first time you insert it.
4.Please do not unplug the TF card while the machine is working to avoid damage.
5.Please note the direction of TF card insertion,if inserted upside down,it may damage the machine and TF card.
6.When you insert the TF card into the machine,the machine will set the TF card as the preset storage device and the data in the original TF card may not be read.
7.If the TF card is not compatible with the machine,please insert it again or try again with anotherTF card.

6. Montior and Camera Installation

A. Montior Installation

There are two ways of monitor installation – Suction Cup Mounting and On Dashboard Mounting.

Note: Make sure the monitor is mounted in a location that will not obstruct your vision while driving

1. Suction Cup Mounting.

a. Screw the suction cup mounting into the monitor back metal hole.

b. Before mounting the monitor, clean the mounting surface well.
c. Position the suction cup to your wind shield.
d. Press the suction cup against the surface and press the lock down to fix it.

To maximize the efficiency of the suction cup mount , it is recommended that the mounting be performed under the following conditions :

i) Surface temperature should be between 21°c and 38°C.
ii) Mounting below l0°C should be avoided.
iii) Mounting should not occur in direct sunlight

You can fix monitor on dash by using the supplied both U shape table mount bracket stand and bracket stickers shown in Figure

B. Camera Installation

(a) Install the rear camera in the rear of the vehicle,pay attention to the direction when installing.

7. Montior and Camera Wiring Instructions

A. Monitor Wiring

(a) Connect the monitor’s power cable socket with the supplied cigarette lighter car charger (Figure 7) . Make sure the cable must not interfere with safe driving operations.
(b) Insert cigarette lighter car charger into the vehicle’s power socket.
(c) Red push button on top car charger to turn it on.

NOTE:There is a 12V IA in line fuse under the plunger of the cigarette lighter plug.

(a) Locate the power source required: Backup lights if used as a backup camera.
(b) Once you have located the power source, route the camera cable to that location. Never route the cable on the outside of the vehicle.
(c) If you are not confident working with camera wiring, contact your vehicle manufacturer or your nearest retailer/ installer to get a professional installa­tion.

What does this warranty cover?

The manufacturer of this product warrants to the holder of a valid proof of purchase (“Consumer ” or “you”) that the Product and all accessories provided in the sales package (“Product”) are free from defects in material and workmanship, pursuant to the following terms and conditions, when installed and used normally and in accordance with the Product operating instructions.

How long is the limited warranty period?

The limited warranty period for the Product extends for ONE ( 1) YEAR from the date of purchase.

What is not covered by this warranty?

This limited warranty does not cover:

1 . Product that has been subjected to misuse, accident, shipping or other physical damage, improper installation, abnormal operation or handling, neglect, inundation, fire.

2. Product that has been damaged due to repair, alteration or modification by anyone other than an authorized service representative of manufacturer;
3. Product to the extent that the prolblem is caused by use with non-manu­facturer accessories;
4. Product whose warranty/quality stickers, product serial number plates or electronic serial numbers have been removed, altered or rendered illegible; 5 . Product purchased , used , serviced , or shipped for repair from outside the United States of America.

6. Product returned without a valid proof of purchase (see item 2 below);

What must you return with the Product to get warranty service?

1. Return the entire original package and contents including the Product to the manufacturer service location along with a description of the malfunc­tion or difficulty; and
2. Include a “valid proof of purchase” (sales receipt) identifying the Product purchased ( Product model) and the date of purchase or receipt;
3. Provide your name ,complete and correct mailing address, and telephone number Please retain your original sales receipt as proof of purchase .

12. Trobuleshooting

No Display on the Monitor:

  • Ensure that both the camera and monitor are powered on and properly connected to the power supply.
  • Check the wireless transmitter for secure connection and functioning.
  • Adjust the antenna on the wireless transmitter for better signal reception.

Poor Video Quality or Signal Loss:

  • Check the distance between the camera and monitor. If the signal is weak, ad ust the wireless transmitter’s antenna or relocate it.
  • Ensure there are no obstructions causing interference with the wireless signal.

Camera Not Powering On:

  • Check the power cables for any loose connections.
  • Inspect the camera’s fuse or power switch for potential issues.
  • Ensure the camera is properly connected to a 12V DC power source.

Monitor Flickering or Glitching:

  • Make sure the monitor is securely connected to the power supply.
  • Try resetting the system by turning the monitor and camera off and back on again.
  • Check for interference from other wireless devices nearby.

Camera is Blurry or Dirty:

  • Clean the camera lens with a soft, dry cloth.
  • Check the camera for any obstructions or dirt on the lens.
  • Ensure the camera’ s position is adjusted correctly for optimal viewing.
