PLEASE READ THIS USER MANUAL CAREFULLY BEFORE OPERATING THIS UNIT AND RETAIN FOR FUTURE REFERENCE.
Getting started
- Take the appliance out of the box.
- Remove all the packaging from the product.
- Place the packaging inside the box or dispose of it safely in compliance with the waste sorting instructions shown on the product packaging.
Safety warning and notice
You must read and understand all the instructions before using this device. The warranty will not apply if damage is caused by failure to follow the instructions.
- Never remove the appliance casing.
- Never place this appliance on top of other electrical equipment.
- Protect the power cord from being stepped on or pinched, particularly at the plugs, sockets, and the point where it exits the appliance. Make sure that the power voltage corresponds to the voltage shown on the rating plate at the rear of the appliance. Always pull the plug from the socket when disconnecting from the mains. Never pull on the cord. Ensure you have completed all the other connections before connecting the mains plug.
- Only use attachments/accessories that are recommended by the manufacturer.
- Entrust all appliance repairs to qualified repairers. Repair is needed when the device has been damaged in any fashion, and in particular:
– if the power cord is damaged;
– in the event of a liquid spill or objects being inserted into the device;
– if the device is exposed to rain or humidity;
– if the device does not operate normally;
– or if the appliance has been dropped or impacted. - The series panel is located on the bottom of the appliance.
- Never block the air vents.
- Make sure you have enough space for ventilation. Place the product on a stable surface.
- This device must be used in a moderate climate, away from direct sunlight, naked flames or heat, heating devices, cookers or any other devices (including amplifiers) that generate heat. Do not install near a heat source.
- The batteries (battery pack or inserted batteries) must not be exposed to excessive heat, such as sunshine, fire, etc.
- Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it. Never lubricate any part of this appliance. Clean it with a soft cloth. Do not use abrasive products or harsh cleaners.
- Ensure that you always have easy access to the power cord, plug or adapter to disconnect this appliance from the mains if necessary.
- Do not use this appliance near water. It must not be dripped on or splashed. Do not use this appliance in a damp or wet environment.
- Disconnect this device in the event of a storm or if you are not going to use it for a long period of time.
- This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and over, and by persons with a physical or sensory disability, learning difficulties or a lack of experience and knowledge provided they are supervised or have received instructions on the safe use of the appliance, and they understand the risks involved. Children must not play with the appliance or power cord (risk of strangulation). Children must not clean or maintain the appliance without supervision.
- This appliance must only be supplied with very low safety voltage corresponding to the marking on the appliance.
- The battery should be removed from the appliance before disposal. The appliance must be disconnected from the power supply when removing the battery.
- The product must be at a minimum distance of 20 cm from the human body in operation.
- Risk of suffocation: small parts are not intended for children under 3 years old or for people with a tendency to put inedible objects in their mouths.
The lightning bolt symbol within an equilateral triangle alerts users to the presence of dangerous uninsulated voltages, inside the device, that may present a risk of electric shock.
The exclamation mark inside a triangle indicates the presence of important operating and maintenance (repair) instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.

Description of parts
Controls / Remote control
Please insert the battery into the remote control before use (23A/12V battery included).
– Press to turn on the device.
– Single press to play in Bluetooth, USB, Optical or Aux-in mode.
– Long press to power off.- “∧” button: Go back
– Long press to fast scan back through song.
– Short press to go back to the previous track. - “▷” button: Play/ Pause
– Single press to play/pause in BT, USB. - “∨” button: Forward
– Press and hold the button to fast forward through the track.
– Short press to go to the next track. - “TWS” button:
– Press to TWS pair.
– Press and hold to cancel TWS pair. - “EQ” button:
– Press to set equalizer: flat–>music–>news–>movies. - “+” Volume + button:
– Press to increase the volume. - “-” Volume – button:
– Press to decrease the volume.

Use
Please refer to the information on the underside of the packaging regarding safety and electrics before installing or using the device.
Warning:
- Before using the unit, check that the power supply is compatible with the 230V (50 Hz) rating of the unit.
- Do not plug or unplug the power cord with wet hands.
- When you are planning not to use the appliance for a prolonged period (holiday, etc.), disconnect the plug from the mains outlet.
- When disconnecting the power cord from the wall outlet, grasp the plug; do not pull the cord to avoid shock risks caused by the damaged cable.
Power
Insert the mains adapter into the power outlet and turn the power on if necessary.
- Turn on the main power switch on the rear.
- When you first connect the unit to the mains, the unit is in standby mode. The standby indicator lights up.
- Press the power button to turn the unit on or off.
- Switch off and unplug the power cord from the wall outlet if you want to turn the unit off completely.
Auto standby
When playing media from a connected device, the speaker will automatically switch to standby mode if no button is pressed for 10 minutes or there is no audio from a connected device for 10 minutes.
Mode selection
Press the POWER button on the device several times to select the mode you want.
The indicator light on the soundbar shows which mode is currently in use.
- Aux: The green light indicates that the speaker is in Aux In mode.
- BT: The blue light indicates that the speaker is in Bluetooth mode.
- USB: The white light indicates that the speaker is in USB mode.
- Optical: The yellow light indicates that the speaker is in Optical mode.
- TWS: The purple light indicates that the speaker is paired to stereo.
Select the Equaliser (EQ) effect
Select the preset sound modes that match your video or music.
Press the EQ button repeatedly to choose the preset equaliser effects you want.
Flat–>music–>news–>movies.
- Movie: recommended for watching movies
- Music: recommended for listening to music
- News: recommended for listening to news or making the voices in movies louder
- Flat: normal mode.
Volume control
Press Vol+/Vol- (Volume) to increase or decrease the volume level.
Bluetooth operation
Using Bluetooth, connect the speaker with your Bluetooth device and you can listen to audio files stored on the device or streamed through the speaker.
- To make Bluetooth work properly, you need a Bluetooth device that supports the Bluetooth A2DP profile, AVRCP profile and Bluetooth version 4.2 + EDR.
• The maximum operational range between the speaker and the Bluetooth device is approximately 10 metres (30 feet).
- Press the POWER button several times to put the soundbar in Bluetooth mode.
The BT indicator flashes as it waits to pair.
- On the Bluetooth device, switch to Bluetooth settings, find and select DS702 to start the connection (see the user manual of the Bluetooth device for how to activate Bluetooth).
During connection, the BT indicator will light flash.
- Wait to hear the sound emitted from the speaker.
When connected, the BT LED indicator changes to blue (steady light).
- Select and play audio files or music on your Bluetooth device.
• During playback, if you get a call, the music will pause. Playback resumes when the call ends.
• If your Bluetooth device runs with the AVRCP profile, you can press ∧/∨ to skip a track or press ▷ on the remote control to pause/resume playback. - To exit Bluetooth, choose another source.
• When you switch back to Bluetooth mode, Bluetooth connection remains active.
Please note:
- The live music stream may be interrupted by obstacles located between the device and the speaker, e.g. a wall, the metal casing of the device, or other nearby devices operating on the same frequency.
- If you want to connect your speaker to another Bluetooth device, press and hold the ▷ button to disconnect the previously connected Bluetooth device.
OPTICAL operation
- Make sure the unit is connected to the TV or audio device.
- Press the POWER button several times on the unit to switch to Optical mode, the LED indicator will change to yellow.
- Adjust the playback functions directly on your audio device.
- Press the VOL +/– buttons to adjust the volume to your desired level.
Please note:
In OPTICAL mode, if there is no audio output from the unit and the status light is flashing, you may need to enable the PCM or Dolby Digital Signal output on your source device (TV, DVD or Blu-ray player).
AUX operation
- Press the POWER button to turn on the speaker
- Plug the AUX cable in AUX IN socket, it will auto move to AUX IN mode, the LED indicator will change to green.
- Adjust the playback functions directly on your audio device.
- Press the VOL+/Vol– buttons to adjust the volume to the required level.
USB play mode
Playing Music via USB
This device was designed with the latest technical innovations in the field of USB. However, given the wide selection of USB storage devices available on the market, we cannot guarantee compatibility with every device. For this reason, in certain rare cases, it may be difficult to go back to the previous song from a USB device. This is not a device malfunction.
- Plug the USB in USB socket, it will auto move to USB mode, the LED indicator will change to white color.
- Playback will start automatically after a few seconds.
- Press the ▷ button to play. Press the ∧ or ∨ button to skip the tracks backwards or forwards. To pause or resume play, press the ▷ button again.
Notes:
- Always directly connect a USB storage medium to the USB port to prevent any malfunctions.
- The USB port is not designed for charging external devices.
- Important: Switch the device to a different operating mode before you remove the USB storage device.
TWS mode
TWS allows 2 identical DS702 speakers to pair together as a stereo pair.
To activate TWS mode, press the TWS button on both speakers. The 2 speakers will then search and pair together. Press and hold again to unpair.
Warning about batteries
This product contains one or more batteries.
- Use batteries correctly to prevent any injury or fire caused by a leak, overheating, explosion, erosion or other damage.
- Keep new and used batteries out of the reach of children or any vulnerable person. Stop using the device if the battery compartment does not close properly.
- If the liquid from an alkaline battery comes in contact with the skin and/or eyes, rinse them immediately with clean water and consult a physician.
- If an alkaline battery leaks, wipe up the liquid with a cloth and replace the battery with a new one.
- Do not swallow batteries. If swallowed, a battery can cause severe internal burns in 2 hours and can cause death. If batteries are swallowed, contact a poison centre immediately and consult a physician.
- Use AA Ni-MH, alkaline or lithium batteries.
- Do not charge these batteries. Charging non-rechargeable batteries causes gas and/or heat emissions that can cause explosions and/or fires.
- Do not use different types of batteries or a mixture of new and old batteries.
- Insert the batteries according to the correct polarity (+ and -).
- Do not put the same battery poles in contact with each other.
- Remove dead batteries quickly. There is a risk of the battery exploding if it is not replaced correctly or if the appliance is unused for a period of time.
- Replace the battery with an identical or equivalent model.
- The batteries (or battery pack) must not be exposed to excessive heat, such as sunlight, fire, etc.
- Do not heat batteries or dispose of them in fire or water.
- Do not use metal pliers or metal objects such as the point of a pen or tweezers to remove batteries. Avoid deforming, crushing or piercing batteries.
- Do not disassemble the batteries.
- Cover the ends of the batteries with tape to prevent explosions and combustion when these are scrapped.
- Scrap batteries in an environmentally friendly way.
- Do not dispose of batteries in ordinary household waste.
- Be sure to comply with the local regulations in force when scrapping batteries.

Swallowing can lead to chemical burns, perforation of soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur within 2 hours of ingestion. Seek medical attention immediately.
Risk of fire or explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
Disposing of a battery in fire or a hot oven, crushing it or cutting it mechanically may cause an explosion.
Leaving a battery in an ambient environment at extremely high temperatures may cause an explosion or leaks of a liquid or flammable gas.
A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure may result in an explosion or the leakage of flammable liquid or gas.
The maximum ambient temperature for using the product is 35 ℃.

In an environment with electrostatic discharge, the device may switch off. The user must then recharge the battery and reset the device.

Please act according to your local rules, and do not dispose of your old products in your normal household waste. Correct disposal of your old product helps to prevent potential negative consequences for the environment and human health.
Additional information
- When the appliance does not transmit audio output for a certain amount of time, it will automatically go into standby mode to save energy. It can then be switched back ON by using the POWER button.
- If an incoming call is received while the DS702 system is connected to your mobile phone during music playback, the music will immediately pause when you answer the call and resume after the call ends. Depending on the mobile phone, playback may sometimes stay paused after the end of the call.

This product is guaranteed by Bigben for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase, except in countries of the European Economic Area, which offer a longer warranty period.

In this case, contact our technical support. For any problem with a defective product, contact your point of purchase with your receipt. The warranty does not cover problems of improper use.
