After each use, rinse away any residue with clean water and dry the surface with a soft cloth to help prevent water spots. For a more thorough clean, use mild dish soap and a non-abrasive sponge or cloth as needed.
Stonebaths Lightweight Baths and Basins - Symbol 6 Natural aging
Over time, your copper bath will naturally develop a patina that forms through oxidation. Often referred to as a “living finish,” this process results in a mix of tones that enhances the character of the metal and protects it from corrosion.

OUTDOOR SHOWERS

Stonebaths Lightweight Baths and Basins - Fig 6

Our 316 stainless steel showers and freestanding bath spouts are crafted to resist corrosion and withstand outdoor conditions. However, due to environmental factors such as salt air, humidity, and pollutants, rust spots may occasionally develop over time. This is a natural occurrence with stainless steel in outdoor environments and does not affect the structural integrity of your shower. To avoid this occuring prematurely, a daily cleaning as described above is recommended.

Clean regularly with fresh water and a soft cloth. Use warm water and mild soap for deeper cleaning, avoiding abrasive cleaners or tools. Always rinse well and dry to prevent water spots.

For rust spots, gently apply a stainless steel cleaner with a soft cloth following the metal grain. Rinse and dry  thoroughly afterward.

Rinse after exposure to salt or chlorine and check fittings regularly. Coastal or humid environments may require more frequent cleaning to manage surface rust.
