- Refer to the manufacturer of the Server Rack to determine the mounting hole type and size
- Phillips head screwdriver
- Cage nut tool (Optional)

- Before adding equipment to this product, ensure this product has been properly mounted.
- Never operate this product if parts are missing or damaged.
- Ensure the weight of the equipment does not exceed the weight capacity of this product. If the weight capacity is exceeded, personal injury or damage to the equipment is possible.
- These product can support the following weight:
- CABSHELFV2U-16-RACK: 44lb / 20kg
- CABSHELFV2U-12-RACK: 25lb / 11.3 kg
- CABSHELFV1U-16-RACK: 30lb / 14kg
Installation
- Identify a suitable location on the Server Rack to mount the Shelf. The Shelf requires 2U or 1U of Mounting Space (depending on the model).
Note: The Server Rack should have enough Mounting Depth to accommodate the Shelf. - Install the M5 Cage Nuts (x 4) into the Mounting Holes (x 4) on the Front Posts of the Server Rack. If available, use a Cage Nut Tool or a preferred installation method to install the Cage Nuts.
Note: If the Server Rack has M5 threaded holes, skip this step. The M5 Screws can be installed without the M5 Cage Nuts.
Use the manufacturer-recommended Screws for the Server Rack if they differ from M5. - Position the Shelf onto the Server Rack at the chosen U Height, determined in
Step 1, with the Front Mounting Brackets facing forward. Ensure the Holes (x 4) on the Front Mounting Brackets are Aligned with the Mounting Holes on the Front Posts of the Server Rack. - Insert the M5 Screws (x 4) through the Front Mounting Brackets and into the M5 Cage Nuts (x 4). Tighten the M5 Screws (x 4) using a Phillips Head Screwdriver.
Note: Ensure the Shelf is secure before placing Server Rack Equipment.
