Each button press sends a unique identifier to distinguish it from others, allowing the receiving device to perform specific actions.
Troubleshooting:
If the switch panel is not operating as expected:
- Check if the backlight LEDs come on when pressing a button.
- If LEDs do not come on, check the power source and replace the CR2032 battery if needed.

Installation and Setup
- Install the RF Bow Keypad on a flat surface using the mounting holes in the housing with #6 Pan Head Screws. Avoid installing the switch panel on or near metal surfaces, which can have a detrimentalimpact ono signal strength and integrity.
- To pair an RF Bow Keypad with a compatible Spyder Controls receiving device, put the receiving device into pairing mode (following the instructions for the receiver device), then press and hold any two of the three buttons on the RF Bow Keypad to pair. The receiving device will indicate when pairing has succeeded.
Operation
- The RF Bow Keypad features an integrated 400 MHz Transmitter that wirelessly sends messages to a receiver device. Each keypad has backlight LEDs that will illuminate the buttons. These LEDs should turn on whenever a button is being pressed or held, indicating that the switch panel is transmitting, and they will stay on for 10 seconds after the transmission has stopped.
- The messages sent out by each switch panel have a unique identifier, which is used to distinguish them from one another. The message sent out when pressing a button also indicates which button is being pressed to allow the receiving device to perform a unique action for each button. The wireless receiver device only acknowledges messages from switch panels that are paired with it.
Troubleshooting
- If the switch panel is not operating as expected, watch the backlight LEDs and press one of the buttons to see if they come on. If the LEDs do not come on, check the power source. Replace the CR2032 battery and try operating the switch panel again. If the LEDs still do not turn on when pressing a button after troubleshooting the power source, the switch panel has failed and needs to be replaced.
- If the switch panel does not operate as expected, but the LEDs do come on when pressing the button, there is likely a problem with the receiver device. If the LEDs work but the icons on the receiving device do not change color when pressing a button, the Bow Keypad needs to be paired again with the device and the procedure repeated. If, after re-pairing the Bow Keypad to the receiver, it still does not function correctly, the Bow Keypad is considered faulty and needs to be replaced. If the icons on the receiving device turn red or alternate between red and green, the signal strength is not strong enough, and the Bow Keypad is considered faulty and needs to be replaced. Refer to the document of the receiver device being used for more detailed instructions on troubleshooting and pairing procedures.
