Device operation

HDMI (CEC) function
This device is equipped with an HDMI (CEC) function, Please refer to its function and settings when using the CEC function.

Core Functions and Uses

One-key linkage control
Automatic switching of input sources: When plugging in the HDMI cable, the TV automatically jumps to the corresponding HDMI interface。
Cross-device remote control
Unified volume control: Adjust the volume of the speaker directly through the TV remote control; no additional remote control is required

Manufacturer aliases (CEC names of different brands)
To avoid confusion or not find the path of the TV CEC setting, it is necessary to pay attention to the unique naming of CEC by each brand:

How to enable CEC
Go to the TV settings menu and find options like “HDMI control”, “Device linkage”, or a brand-specific name (such as the above manufacturer alias) to turn on the CEC function.

HDMI (ARC) device connection

Turn on the TV and turn on the CEC function (most TVs are enabled by default).
Then turn on the speaker power switch, and connect one end of the HDMI version 1.4 or later cable to the HDMI (ARC) port of the TV, and the other end to the HDMI input port on the rear of the speaker.
When the TV CEC function is turned on and set, once the HDMI cable is connected, the TV will automatically switch to the HDMI (ARC) channel, and the speakers will emit the TV sound. (Due to the uneven compatibility of CEC, it may not be possible to switch HDMI (ARC) automatically, in which case the TV can be set manually.)

Select the sound settings on your TV and select the HDMI (ARC) output (the setting method is slightly different for different TVs, please refer to the TV manual). When the setup is complete, the sound of the TV show will be played through the speakers.
In the case that there are multiple connection methods at the same time, you can select HDMI mode by tapping the mode button, or you can select HDMI mode using by remote control, and the sound can be played through the speaker.

Power on/off

To turn on the device, tap the power button. The voice prompt Power on indicates that the device has been turned on.
To turn off the device, tap the power button again. The voice prompt Power off indicates that the device is shutting down.

Optical input mode
Devices with Optical output (e.g., Blu-ray player):

Connect one end of the optical cable to the optical output port of the playback device, and the other end to the optical input port at the rear of the speaker.
In the case of multiple connection methods simultaneously, the sound can be played through the speaker by tapping the mode button, selecting the Optical mode, or selecting the Optical mode by the remote control.

Coaxial input mode
Devices with Coaxial output (e.g.,, Blu-ray players):

Connect one end of the coaxial cable to the Coaxial output port of the player device, and the other end to the Coaxial input port at the rear of the speaker.
In the case of multiple connection methods simultaneously, the sound can be played through the speaker by tapping the Mode button, selecting the Coaxial mode, or selecting the Coaxial mode by the remote control.

AUX input mode

Devices with a 3.5mm headphone jack (e.g., MP3 player):
Connect one end of the 3.5mm to 3.5mm audio playback device, and the other end to the aux input port at the rear of the speaker.

Devices with RCA sockets (e.g., CD players):

Connect the RCA (red/white) plug to the RCA output port of the playback source device, and connect the other end of the 3.5mm plug to the aux input port at the rear of the speaker.
In the case that there are multiple connection methods at the same time, the music can be played through the speaker by tapping the mode button, selecting the AUX mode.

USB playback mode

Plug the USB flash drive containing your playlist into the rear USB input port of the speaker. Once plugged in, the speaker will automatically enter playback mode and start playing.
To switch tracks, press and hold the -/+ button, or use the remote control to scroll up and down the buttons.

Bluetooth pairing
Tap the button once, and the voice prompts Bluetooth pairing, indicating that you have entered pairing mode. Using your playback device (i.e., smartphone, tablet, etc.), go to the Bluetooth Control Center and find the speaker name “[SSX25P124 – Custom Soundbar]”, then select it to start pairing. After successful pairing, the voice prompts Bluetooth device is connected. Long-press press button will terminate the connection, and the voice prompt Bluetooth device disconnected. It can also be operated using the remote-control Bluetooth button.

Networking party mode

Networking party mode can be paired with multiple compatible devices.
On device 1, when the device is playing, you only need to press and hold the button, and the voice prompt Connecting speakers indicates that networking is enabled. Device 1 is now set as the main speaker for all other speakers.

Next, turn on Device 2 and press and hold the button, at which point the speaker will automatically connect to Device 1. The connection is successful, and device 2 will start playing music on device 1.
Continue with the above and connect as many compatible speakers as needed to create a wider range of soundstage.
To disconnect from the networking party mode, simply press and hold the button again.

The voice prompt Speakers disconnected indicates that the device is out of networking mode.
It can also be operated using the remote control button.

Volume/audio track adjustment buttons
Press the -/+ button to decrease/increase the volume.

remark

Only speakers that are compatible with networking party mode can be connected.
In Networking Party mode, play/pause, track/back, and volume control are only valid on device 1 (master), and all slave devices will follow the track changes, volume, etc. of the master device.

The master is easy to identify, as only the master can control play/pause and volume levels.
All speakers connected via Networking Party Mode should be within 95 feet (30 meters) of Device 1 (the primary unit). Unable to scale more than 95 feet from the primary unit.

Power the speakers
Plug the included power adapter into the power port on the back of the speaker, and the device will turn on and use the device normally.
Note: When the included power adapter is damaged or lost, please purchase a 15V/3Ah power adapter that meets the local safety certification to use.

Bluetooth and wireless reception and range are affected by walls, obstacles, and movement. For best performance, place the product in a place where there are no walls or obstructions and keep it off the ground.
