SMT-2W5 Smart Temp Wifi Thermostat
Sender module Typical Colour Codes
| Mark | Colour | Typical Function |
| 1 | Green | G – Fan |
| 2 | Yellow | Y1 – 1st Stage Cool |
| 3 | White | W1 – 1st Stage Heat or Reversing Valve |
| 4 | Purple | Y2 – 2nd Stage Cool |
| 5 | Brown | W2 – 2nd Stage Heat or Aux / Emergency Heat |
| 24R | Red | 24 VOLT (HOT) |
| 24C | Black | 24 VOLT (COMMON) |
Use a multimeter to identify which MAN terminals is 24V and which MAN terminal is 0V.
Use a multimeter (set to AC Volts), place the -ve probe to chassis and test the voltage on the two MAN terminals.
The one showing 24 AC (approx.) is the “R” terminal, (wired to Com linked with R on SMT-2W5) the terminal showing 0V is the “W” terminal (wired to 3 on the SMT-2W5)
Enter the SMT-450 Installer menu (PIN is 0021) Under “System Type Selection” choose the “Others” option, then select “Conventional 1H no fan”
