Whether you have opted for the full DishyDock System or a pre-wired RV for Starlink, you are now part of a community that values reliable and efficient connectivity on the go. This guide will help you understand the different setups available and how to get the most out of your RV WIFI system.
Your RV WIFI System
You will either have our complete DishyDock System in your caravan, equipped with either the RV WIFI5G, 4G, or DishyDock Router, or your RV will be prewired for Starlink, giving you the flexibility to decide how you would like to set up your system. Our full Starlink Integration system allows you to connect the Starlink Gen 2, Gen 3, or the Mini directly to your external port using one of our specially designed weatherproof cables.
Starlink Integration
To comprehend the steps involved in your connectivity journey, select the appropriate Starlink System that you have procured, and identify the necessary cable to ensure weatherproof connections. Below are the available options:
Generation 2:
This comprehensive cable connects directly to the Generation 2 Starlink Antenna and the customized DishyDock Port without necessitating wire cutting.

Starlink Mini:
If your RV is `Pre Wired’ only, you will have encountered our Back to Back Port. The subsequent step is to decide on your preferred setup method. We provide two options:
Option 1: Weatherproof Cable, Port, and DishyDock Power
Description:
This is a weatherproof 12V system that offers flexibility by allowing you to place your Starlink Dish wherever you prefer. This option includes a plug-and-play 15m weatherproof cable and a DishyDock Power unit.
Benefit:
Paired with the DishyDock Power, this is an ideal solution for off-grid setups, providing robust and reliable power while ensuring your Starlink Dish connections are protected from the elements.
Option 2: Weatherproof Cable and RV WIFI Router
Description:
This is the ultimate solution for full 12V connectivity. It combines the weatherproof cable and DishyDock Power with an RV WIFI router of your choice, offering exceptional WIFI 6 range, speed, and security.

Setting Up Your System
Step-by-Step Guide
Setting up your RV WIFI system is straightforward and can be completed in a few easy steps. Depending on the option you choose, follow the respective instructions below.
Option 1 Setup
- Connect the weatherproof cable to your Starlink Dish.
- Secure the cable to the external port of your RV.
- Attach the DishyDock Power unit to the system. This will be located inside your RV.
- Position your Starlink Dish at your preferred location.
- Power on the system and follow the Starlink app instructions to complete the setup.
Option 2 Setup
- Connect the weatherproof cable to your Starlink Dish.
- Secure the cable to the external port of your RV.
- Attach the DishyDock Power unit to the system. This will be located inside your RV.
- Connect the RV WIFI router to the DishyDock Power unit, also located inside your RV.
- Position your Starlink Dish at your preferred location.
- Power on the system and follow the Starlink app instructions to complete the setup.
- Configure your RV WIFI router using the provided setup QR guide.
Maximizing Your Connectivity

To ensure you get the best performance out of your RV WIFI system, here are a few tips:
- Positioning: Position your Starlink Dish in an open area with a clear view of the sky to avoid obstructions that could interfere with the signal.
- Weatherproofing: Regularly check your weatherproof cables and connections to ensure they are secure and free from damage.
- Updates: Keep your Starlink app and RV WIFI router firmware up-to-date to benefit from the latest features and improvements.
- Security: Use strong passwords and enable security features on your RV WIFI router to protect your network from unauthorized access.

- Check the Starlink App
- No Signal: Ensure your Starlink Dish is positioned correctly and that there are no obstructions. Check all connections and cables for damage.
- Slow Internet Speed: Confirm that your Starlink app shows a strong signal. Reposition the dish if necessary. Check for any firmware updates for your RV WIFI router.
- Connection Drops: Ensure all cables are securely connected. Restart your Starlink Dish and RV WIFI router. Check for interference from other electronic devices.
