Connect to Wi-Fi

1. On the Quick Talker Freestyle device, go to the Utilities folder and open the Settings app.
2. Tap on Wi-Fi
3. Tap on your Wi-Fi from the list of available Wi-Fi access points
4. Enter the password or complete any sign-on pop-ups that may appear.

Create the Quick Talker Freestyle Apple ID

1. In the Settings app, tap Sign in to your iPad. You will be prompted to enter an Apple ID. Tap Don’t have an Apple ID or Forgot it?
2. Enter the user’s First and Last name. If the user is under 13, use 1/01/11 as the Date of Birth. Users under 13 are not allowed to download apps from the App Store.
3. Next, create a new email address by selecting Don’t have an email address?, then Get an iCloud Email Address. You will now be prompted to create an Apple ID. Enter your preferred Apple ID.
   a. Note: The Quick Talker Freestyle Apple ID requires a new email address, which is only used for this device.
4. Create a password.
5. Enter a phone number you can use to verify the account. Then, use the code you receive to verify your account.

Download the Subscription App

1. On the Quick Talker Freestyle device, go to the Utilities folder and open the App Store app.
2. After dismissing any pop-ups, tap Search at the top
3. Search for TD Snap
4. Tap Get
5. Enter a billing address if it prompts for one, ensuring you select none for the payment method.

Redeem Gift Card Code(s)

1. Open the email you received to the email address you specified in the Self-Service form. It will be titled able CARE via Tremendous. If you do not see the email, check your junk or spam folder.
2. Click redeem in the email
3. On the following webpage, click redeem
4. Select Apple
5. Click Redeem
6. On the next webpage, click view code
7. The final webpage should have the gift card code
8. On the Quick Talker Freestyle device, go to the Utilities folder and open the App Store app.
9. Open the Apple account.
   a. The Apple account icon in the screen’s upper right corner will differ depending on the Apple ID. The icon may look like initials, a blue silhouette of a person, or a profile picture. Tap that button.
10. Tap Redeem gift card or code.
11. Tap enter code manually.
12. You should now be greeted with a successful redemption page. Be careful to tap the X or no thanks on the next page as it will be an advertisement.

Activate Subscription

1. On the Quick Talker Freestyle device, go to the home screen of the device and open the TD Snap app. If the app is still downloading, wait until it is done downloading before opening it.
2. Complete the initial setup of the app
   a. Answer the prompt according to what is needed for the client.
   b. You will not need to log in to a Tobii Dynavox account. There should be an option to skip in the lower right at this step.
3. Once you have completed the app setup, tap on the Speech Bubble with a line going through it in the top right of the screen.
4. Tap 1-month free – Subscribe in the lower right of the pop-up.
5. You will be prompted to enter the Apple ID Password
6. You may be prompted to enter a billing address. Enter the address, ensuring that you select None for the payment method.
7. You should now be set up! Please notify able CARE at ablecare@ablenetinc.com or 651-294-3101 that you have completed the setup successfully. They will proceed to lock the device so the allocated funds for the subscription cannot be miss spent.
