Frequently Asked Questions

  • Do these come with flush mount covers? If so what color?
Hi, the unit comes with (2) Magnetic Speaker Grills cover and it is color white.
  • Is the tweeter able to pivot?
    Hi, unfortunately no.
  • Do these come with flush mount covers? If so what color?
It doesn’t include flush mount covers.
  • Any reason this can’t or won’t work in a car?
The design aspect. As these speakers were intended to mount on a wall or ceiling.
  • A two-way full-range speaker is what?
The woofer and tweeter are two different types of drivers found in 2-way speakers. A speaker called a woofer is made specifically to reproduce low-frequency sounds, whereas a tweeter is made to reproduce high-frequency sounds. The mid-range, woofer, and tweeter drivers, collectively known as the 3-way speaker, produce sound.
  • How far apart should speakers in the ceiling be?
As far apart as speakers on a typical sound system would be, speakers should be placed at least 18 inches from the wall.
  • What exactly are the requirements for ceiling speakers?
An external amplifier that is wired via speaker cable to each ceiling speaker is required to power all of the ceiling speakers. The Sonos Amp is the greatest multi-room option, in our opinion. Below, we go through every significant factor you should take into account while selecting ceiling speakers.
  • What benefit can full-range speakers offer?
Pros: Since sound originates from a “single point in space,” there are no peaks or cancellations in the frequency response caused by interference from two physically apart drivers.
  • How do speakers with a full range function?
Full-Range speakers span the complete vocal spectrum, as indicated by the phrase. The typical low frequency of full-range speakers is between 60 and 70 Hz. Larger units will be able to reach low frequencies with 15″ drivers, however smaller units with 10″ or less LF drivers will roll off closer to 100 Hz.
  • Do ceiling speakers require a receiver?
  • It is necessary to connect passive in-ceiling speakers to a receiver or amplifier. Speakers installed in walls and ceilings are typically passive speakers. They are thus not required to be connected to a power source. They just require a connection to a receiver or amplifier that serves as both a power and a sound source.
  • Is a subwoofer necessary for ceiling speakers?
Do ceiling speakers require a subwoofer? Even if ceiling speakers are capable of producing all the bass and low-end frequencies, a subwoofer will be helpful in handling them. Additionally, it significantly improves the overall sound quality of your sound system.
