Specifications

Step 1: Plug in the OBDII Reader

  • Locate your vehicle’s OBDII port (usually found under the dashboard, near the driver’s seat).
  • Plug the OBDII reader into the OBDII port.

Step 2: Connect the OBDII Reader to Bluetooth on the Head Unit

  • On the head unit, go to Settings > Bluetooth and ensure Bluetooth is turned on.
  • Select Manage Devices.
  • Wait for the head unit to detect the OBDII reader.
  • When prompted for a password, enter 1234 and select Connect.

Step 3: Configure the Torque App

  • The Torque app should already be preinstalled on your head unit. If not, please email us at sales@polarisgps.com.au, and we will send you the APK file for installation.
  • Open the Torque app.
  • Tap the Settings icon in the bottom left-hand corner.
  • Select OBDII Adapter Settings.
  • Tap Choose Bluetooth Device and select your OBDII reader.
  • Press the Return arrow to go back.
  • Open Real-Time Information to start viewing vehicle data.

A53 Dash Camera

Step 1: Install the Dash Camera

  • Insert a microSD card into the dash camera.
  • Plug the dash camera into one of the USB ports on the head unit.
  • Mount the camera in your preferred position on the windshield.
  • Ensure it has a clear view of the road and is securely attached.

Step 2: Install the DVR App

  • Open the File Manager app on the head unit.
  • Select USB to access the files on your USB drive.
  • Locate and select the DVR.apk file.
  • Follow the on-screen prompts to install the app.
  • Once installed, open the DVR app to view the camera feed and access additional settings.
