PLT 7067 LED Emergency Driver 30W
WARNING, CAUTION, SAFETY AND INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
- Installation, service, and maintenance of luminaries should be performed by a qualified licensed electrician.
CAUTION
This LED driver is to be installed in accordance with Article 450 of the National Electrical Code and local electrical codes.
The following LED drivers with metal case must be grounded: PLT-13210, PLT-13215, PL T-13216, PL T-13217, PLT-13218, PLT-13219
Both LED driver and LED modules generate heat during operation, and it is necessary to allow heat to dissipate. The LED driver must be installed in a well-ventilated area and free from explosive gases and vapors.
Keep the output connection leads as short as possible. If you need to extend the distance between the LED driver to the LED modules, please increase the wire gauge to minimize the voltage drop to the modules.
Installation Instructions
- Before starting installation:
- Make sure that power is turned OFF at the circuit breaker before installation.
- Check the label on LED driver to ensure proper input voltage, output voltage, and wattage. Do not overload the unit.
- Firmly secure the case to the application with the proper size screws.
- Connect the positive lead wire of the LED module to the Red ( +) wire of the LED driver. Connect the negative lead wire of the LED module to the Blue (-) wire of the LED driver.
- If a 0-10V dimmer is being used:
- Also refer to the dimmer instruction sheet for installation.
- Connect dimmer wires to purple(+) and pink(-) of LED driver.
- Cap off dimming wires if not used.
- Dimmable 0-10V drivers: PLT-13207, PLT-13210, PLT-13215
- Confirm all connections are secured before turning the power ON.
Additional Notes
- PLT-13220 is a constant current (electronic driver) that uses phase dimming.
- PLT-13216, PLT-13217, PLT-13218, and PLT-13219 are constant voltage (electronic drivers) that have no dimming.
