Nyko Type Pad Keyboard with Glow Wireless Controller
INSTALLATION PROCEDURE

- TYPE PAD is designed to be compatible with the original and new versions of the XBOX One wireless controller.
- Those with new model XBOX One controllers (with standard headset input) wil need to extend the pass-thru headset jack located under the rubber cover on the back of the Type
- Pad. Gendy flip into extended position and replace the rubber cover to cover the storage area.
- Attach the Type Pad by aligning the plugs and gently pressing into place. Power on the controller and console.
- Press and release the SYNC button on the Type Pad to initiate pairing.The LED indicator will blink rapidly to indicate sync discovery mode.
- Insert the Wireless Adaptor into an available USB port on the side or back f the console. Once properly paired, the LED indicator will glow SOLID blue for_ 2-3 seconds to indicate successful connection before turning OFF.
- Test the mini directional pad and buttons to confirm prope operation. Repeat procedure if necessary to establish sync.
- Once properly installed, connect headset (style compatible with your controller) by directly connecting to the appropriate port on the Type Pad.
- TYPE PAD is designed to be compatible with the original and new versions of the XBOX One wireless controller.

Will this fit a wired controller?
Only if it’s an official Xbox controller. I tried to use it with an afterglow wired controller and it didn’t fit.
does the direction nub work like arrow keys in games? like gta phone/menu navigation
Unfortunately, you won’t get any use out of this in game. Console-versions games aren’t configured for keyboards, so this only allows for typing into text boxes and chat.
Does it work?
It worked for my two grandsons. They used it.
can I use a 3.5mm headset even if my controller does not have a 3.5mm jack? Microsoft chatpad allowed me to and I need to replace it.
The Type Pad is only compatible with Xbox One controllers that have the 3.5mm jack. Controllers that don’t are not compatible
does the chatpad have an audio jack for 3.5 mm headset?
Yes, it does. There is a foldable male jack that plugs into the controller as well as a female jack on the bottom.
Does this work with Xbox one s?
I can only go by both my grandkids that I got it for. They use it all the time and like it. I asked them if it work and if they liked it and they said yes
Does it have the port of the bottom to plug a headset adapter also?
No, it doesn’t fit an adapter. It only has a port for the headset itself.
How do you connect it to the xbox
It connects via the controller.
Does it work with Windows?
It only works with wireless Xbox controllers, so as long as you’re using that with your PC it should work!
Will this fit the Xbox one elite controller?
I wouldnt see why not. Not sure though

No, it’s just the keyboard

Yes but isn’t worth the money it doesn’t work for nothing very bad product

Yes but I would tell you to buy the Microsoft version I have both and it works so much better

No, the turtle beach headset adapter doesn’t fit.
