If you have received glass shelves, carefully place them on appropriate supports and fix them with screws. For revolving plates, assemble as instructed in the manual.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

Regularly clean the internal and external parts of the cabinet. Ensure a levelled floor placement away from direct sunlight or strong lights. Maintain adequate airflow around the cabinet. For periodic maintenance, clean the condenser and internal components every 15 days using appropriate cleaning agents. Follow the instructions provided for cleaning glass panels.

Electrical Connection:

Ensure the power is switched off before performing any electrical connections or maintenance tasks. Follow the provided electrical connection guidelines.

Occasional Shutdown:

For lamp replacement, unplug the cabinet, remove the lamp protection, replace the lamp, and reassemble the protection. For gasket replacement, open the door, replace the gasket, and ensure correct positioning along the perimeter.

FAQ

Q: How often should I clean the condenser?
- A: The condenser should be cleaned periodically by skilled personnel. For regular users, cleaning every 15 days is recommended.

Q: Can I use any cleaning agents for glass panels?
- A: Use neutral detergents for cleaning glass panels. For No-Fog double-glazed panels, only use a soft cloth and cold water to maintain their properties.

CAUTIONS: Before installing your cabinet read this booklet carefully and keep it for future reference. Your cabinet must be started and used by adults only. Any electric work needed for its installation must be performed by a qualified technician. Never try to repair the cabinet by yourself: This could cause damage. Any operations that may be needed must be carried out by an Authorized Service Center. Use original spare parts only. The cabinet should be used for food only. The Manufacturer will not take any responsibility whenever these instructions are not followed and he has the right to make changes that will improve the product, without notice. When the units are still packed, do not place one on the top of the other

INSTALLATION

You have received your new cabinet. Inside the cabinet you will find a small bag with the handle and a key to install it, plus a big bag with the internal fixtures

HANDLE INSTALLATION

To install the handle you must remove the gasket that is located where there are the holes to fix the handle. Warning! You must fix the handle by tightening the appropriate screws that are in the door frame in the right way. Set the cover of the handle.

ASSEMBLING THE INTERNAL FIXTURES WITH GRILLED OR GLASS SHELVES

Place the support shelves into the appropriate holes placing them at the desired height. For the model with the grill shelves place them with the safety bar facing the inside. The front ends of the grill shelves have to be inserted in the 8mmØ holes on the support. For the model with the glass panel locate the suction cups supplied with the equipment in the 5mmØ holes.

ASSEMBLING THE INTERNAL FIXTURES OF REVOLVING PLATES

Remove the round glass shelves from the outfit box and put them in the appropriate supports. Fix them carefully with the appropriate screws.

CLEANING AND CHECKING

Clean the internal side of the glass by using neutral detergents. Clean the external parts. Put the cabinet in a dry place on a levelled floor. Check that the cabinet is not exposed to the sun or to very powerful lights. Check that there is an ade- quate air flow for the engine side and that in front of the grills there are no obstructions for at least 25 cm.

ELECTRICAL CONNECTION

Ensure that available voltage and frequency correspond to those indicated on the data plate. Ensure that the power socket, equipped with earth/ground connection, is suitable for the rated current as per the plate and is provided with protection according to IEC standards (magnetothermal switch with In=rated value stated on plate. Differential with sensitivity Id=30 mA) Check that the environment does not present any explosion danger (AD). Check that the environment is suitable for the use of the power cable mounted on the device. The cable mounted is for indoor environments (H05 VVF).

IMPORTANT: If the glass panel has been mistakenly placed horizontally or upside down during transport, leave it in an upright position for at least 3 hours before connecting the power supply

PERIODIC MAINTENANCE

CLEANING OF CONDENSER

To be performed by skilled personnel.

Remove power supply by switching off general power switch and then extract the plug from the socket. Remove the screws fixing the lower front grille, and extract. Use a brush to eliminate the layer of dust from the condenser fins. Remove remaining dust with the aid of a vacuum cleaner. Re-mount the grille and restore the power supply

INTERNAL CLEANING

To be carried out every 15 days. Remove the power supply by switching off the general switch and then extract the plug from the socket. Remove the goods preserved. Clean the walls and the accessories with a sponge damped with sodium bicarbonate solution and dry thoroughly.

CLEANING OF GLASS

All the double-glazing panels can be cleaned, once they are dry after defrosting, with a soft cloth and normal glass detergents available on the market.

Important

The “No-Fog” double-glazed panels must be washed only with a soft cloth and cold water; do not use any kind of detergent or solvent of any kind or nature as this would irreparably impair their anti-fog and anti-condensation properties.

SHELF EVAPORATOR MAINTENANCE

The shelf evaporator must be defrosted every month. Please do not remove the ice with metallic tools like knives or screwdrivers, or with abrasive sponges. Place a shallow receptacle below the front of the glass cabinet. Remove the stopper at the bottom centre of the glass cabinet: the water from the defrosting process will be collected in the receptacle. When defrosted, please wash the cabinet only with neutral soap, carefully dry the bottom of the tank and replace the stopper

OCCASIONAL SHUTDOWN

LAMP REPLACEMENT

Unplug the cabinet. Remove the polycarbonate lamp protection. Replace the fluorescent tube. Set up the lamp and reassemble the polycarbonate lamp protection.

DOOR GASKET REPLACEMENT

Open the door. Remove the gasket from the door frame. Replace it with the new one and make sure it is positioned correctly along the whole perimeter.

HEATING ELEMENT REPLACEMENT

Remove any food. The heating element is to be found behind the door rabbet profile, covered by a round section channel. It is therefore enough to remove the latter in order to replace the element. To completely remove the heating element it is necessary to detach the fast-on wire terminals inside the motor compartment. Insert the new heating element cables into the appropriate hole at the bottom of the tank and complete the wiring. Remount the protection channel.

ADJUSTING THE DOORS

SLOPING

Due to the normal settling process of the structure, the doors could slope slightly. If this is the case, follow this procedure: turn off the power supply. Remove the front grid to be able to reach the screw stay. Keep the door to be adjusted closed and turn the central element of the screw stay till the door is correctly positioned. Replace the grid and restore power supply.

CENTRING

If the space between the door frame and the door compartment of the cabinet is not equal on the vertical sides, follow this procedure: open the door. Loosen the two screws that fix the hinge. Move the door until it reaches a correct position. Tighten the screws.

REGULATION OF THE MECHANICAL HUMIDISTAT

At the bottom of the cabinet near the air grid, the mechanical humidistat is situated. Simply insert a flat screw-driver into the hole as seen in the drawing and turn towards the right to increase the humidity level and towards the left to decrease

VERY IMPORTANT

With ventilated refrigerated display cabinets it is absolutely necessary to take great care about where you place the products on the shelves. The cabinet is able to maintain a constant temperature only when it is possible for the cold air to circulate in the space between the glass and the shelves. This also means that the food products must not be placed over the outside edge of the shelves, because any obstacle that impedes the air flow stops the cabinet functioning and results in the displayed products going off.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS FOR ALL CABINETS

The lighting system contained in all cabinets guarantees the optimal distribution of light. It is, however, designed to function only when the internal refrigeration is activated. Therefore, when the refrigeration unit is not functioning, it is absolutely necessary to deactivate the lighting system. If this is not done, the lack of air circulation will cause the lamps to seriously overheat and possibly break.
