- Save and extract the BIOS file on a USB drive.
- Connect the AC power and restart the laptop.
- Keep tabbing the ‘Delete’ key upon MSI logo shows up to enter BIOS menu.
- Custom setup of any advanced settings such as under volting/overclocking must be restored to default before starting the BIOS update.
- Load default BIOS settings, then save changes and reboot.
- Select the USB with the BIOS file.
- The BIOS Flash update is completed.
- Enter the BIOS menu again.
- The EC update continues automatically after the BIOS update.
- Wait until the system automatically reboots into Windows system.
- Screen will stay black with power LED light blinking. Do not remove the AC power during this time.
