About This Manual:
This manual is designed for beginners. It includes an introduction to the features of INTEL graphics products, hardware installation, and driver software installation instructions. It also explains some technical terms and can be used as a reference for technical matters.

This graphics card is perfect for multimedia applications, 3D gaming, and professional design, delivering high-performance 3D effects to mainstream PCs. It provides an ideal solution for desktop users and professionals, making it an all-around, high-quality 2D/3D display card.

Driver Software
Please obtain the latest drivers from the MAXSUN official website or the INTEL website. Refer to the website for the most up-to-date information.

Graphics Card System Requirements

  • Processor: 10th Gen Intel® Core™ Processors, AMD Ryzen™ 500 Series Processors or above (compatible processors)
  • Motherboard: PCI-E interface graphics card requires a motherboard with a PCI-Express x16 graphics
  • slot and must support Resizable Bar
    Memory: DDR4/DDR5 memory (8GB or more)
    Display: 17-inch or larger monitor
  • Operating System: Windows 10/11 64-bit (Ensure the operating system uses
    GPT (GUID) partitioning)
  • Additional Programs: .NET 4.5, Adobe Reader, etc.

Graphics Card Installation

Warning:
This graphics card is composed of numerous delicate integrated circuits and other components, which can easily be damaged by static electricity. Before proceeding with the installation, please make the following preparations:

  1. Tum off the computer power and disconnect the power cable.
  2. Ensure that there is enough space in the case to install your graphics card.
  3. When handling the graphics card, avoid touching the metal contact areas. It is recommended to wear anti-static gloves for protection.

Uninstalling the Existing Graphics Card:
If you are installing this card in a new machine, you can skip this step.
If you are upgrading an older system and there is an existing dedicated graphic card installed, you must uninstall the current drivers before installing the new card.

  1. Use DDU (Display Driver Uninstaller) to remove the current graphics drivers
  2. Shut down the computer and disconnect the power. Open the computer case and remove the existing graphics card.

Installing the Graphics Card

  1. Open the computer case.
  2. Remove the graphics card from its packaging
  3. Insert the graphics card into the PCI-Express x16 slot on the motherboard.
    Follow these steps:
    a) Locate the PCI-Express x16 slot that you will be using and remove the same number of expansion slot covers from the case as the metal bracket on the graphics card (if they have already been removed, you can skip this step).
    b) Align the graphics card with the PCI-Express x16 slot and carefully insert it Into place.
    c) Secure the graphics card s metal bracket to the case’s expansion slot using screws.

  4. Please ensure that the PCI-E connector of the graphics card is firmly and securely connected to the PCI-Express x16 slot on the motherboard.
  5. If the graphics card has a 6-pin or 8-pin external power connector, you will need to connect the corresponding 6 + – p * in / 8 – pin power cable from the power supply to the external power connector on the graphics card. (If the graphics card has multiple external power connectors, make sure all of them are connected.)
  6.   7. Reconnect any other devices to the computer and restore the system to its original setup.
  8. Turn on the power and start the computer:

BIOS Settings

Since Intel graphics cards require Resizable Bar to be enabled for optimal performance, it is strongly recommended to turn on Resizable Bar in the BIOS before using the card.

Driver Software Installation

Downloading Intel Graphics Driver from the Official Website

  1. Visit the Intel official website: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download-center/home.html
  2. Click “Graphics”.
  3. After navigating to the page, use the search bar to look up the model of the graphics card you purchased, or use the “All Products” list to select your graphics card series and model. After filtering, locate the driver that matches your operating system on the right side of the results, and click “Download” to begin downloading the driver

  1. After the driver download is complete, open the driver installation program
    and click “Begin Installation”

  2. When the Intel graphics driver installer interface appears, click the “Begin Installation” button. The installer will perform a hardware compatibility check. Once the check is complete, continue to proceed with the installation. It is recommended to check the option for “Clean Installation”

  3. . After the driver installation is complete, a prompt will appear recommending a system restart.
    It is strongly advised to restart your system after the installation to ensure the driver functions properly and delivers the best experience

Display Settings

Note: The following graphics settings are demonstrated using the MAXSUN Intel Arc B580 on Windows 11. Methods for other systems are similar and will not be explained in detail here.

Adjusting System Display Settings

  1. After the graphics driver is successfully installed, right-click on an empty area of the desktop and select “Display settings” to access the system display configuration panel. Here, you can view and adjust settings such as screen resolution and display orientation. For more detailed information about your monitor, scroll down and click “Advanced display settings“, where you can see specifications like the current display mode, refresh rate, and connected device details.

  2. Click “Advanced display settings” to enter the advanced monitor settings (if multiple monitors are connected, select the one you want to adjust). In the display device properties interface, you can view and modify the screen refresh rate according to your needs.

Intel Driver Interface Overview

  1. After the Intel graphics driver is installed, click the “Show hidden icons” arrow in the taskbar and select “Intel Graphics Software” to open the Intel Graphics Control Panel. Here, you can view important system information such as the driver version, CPU model, GPU model, and whether Resizable Bar is enabled.

  2. Click the “Graphics” tab on the left side of the Intel Control Panel. For games like CS2, it is recommended to enable Low Latency Mode and select “Enabled + Boost” to enhance gaming performance and responsiveness.
