Functions of product

  • The ceramic hob is ideal for all types of cooking, with its radiant heat cooking zones, touch-sensitive electronic controls and multiple functions, making it the ideal choice for the modern family.
  • The ceramic hob is extremely user-friendly, durable and safe.

Protection against overheating

A sensor monitors the temperature in the cooking zones. When the temperature exceeds a safety level, the cooking zone is automatically deactivated.

Residual heat indicator

When the hob has been in operation for some time, some residual heat is produced. The letter “H” appears to warn you that it is too hot to touch the surface.

Protection against automatic shut down

Automatic shut-off is a protection function for your glass ceramic hob. It stops automatically if you forget to switch off cooking. The default operating times for the different power levels are shown in the table below:

Power level 1 ∼ 2 3 ∼ 4 5 6 ∼ 9
Default working timer (min) 360 300 240 9∼ 0

Protection against involuntary operations.

If the electronic control detects a button held down for approximately 20 seconds, it switches off automatically. The control emits an error signal to warn that the sensors have detected the presence of an object. If the hob is still hot, the display will show “H”.

Before use

Read this guide, paying particular attention to the “Safety warnings” section.

  • Remove any protective film that may still be on your glass ceramic hob.

Using the touch controls

  • The controls react to touch, so there’s no need to exert any pressure.
  • Use the ball of your finger, not the tip.
  • You will hear a beep each time a key is saved.
  • Make sure that the controls are always clean and dry and that no objects (such as utensils or cloths) cover them.
Even a thin film of water can make the controls difficult to use.
    Using the touch controls

Choosing the right kitchen utensils

Do not use cooking utensils with irregular edges or curved bases.

Make sure the base of your pan is smooth, lies flat against the glass and is the same size as the cooking zone. Use saucepans with a diameter as large as the graph of the selected zone. By using a slightly larger pan, the energy will be used to the maximum. If you use a smaller pan, the efficiency may be lower than expected.
Always center your pan over the cooking zone.
Choosing the right kitchen utensils

Always lift the saucepans off the ceramic hob – do not let them slide as this could scratch the glass.
