Product Usage Instructions
1. Battery Installation and Replacement:
To install or replace the batteries:
- Open the battery cover on the underside of the bin lid.
- Insert 4 x 1.5V AA batteries into the battery casing, ensuring
correct polarity. - Close the battery cover securely before use.
- When batteries are exhausted, remove them from the casing and
dispose of safely.
2. Power On/Off:
To control the sensor head:
- Press ‘I’ to turn on the sensor head. LED lights will
illuminate for 3 seconds. - Press ‘O’ to turn off the sensor head.
3. Sensor Operation:
For automatic lid opening and closing:
- When an object is detected within the sensor area, the lid will
open automatically. - If the lid is blocked, wave your hand above the sensor area to
open/close the lid. - The lid will close automatically after 5 seconds if no object
is detected.
4. Touch Mode:
To manually open or close the lid:
- Touch the key to switch between opening and closing the
lid.
5. Standby Mode:
The system enters Standby mode after lid closure and will
automatically close after 15 minutes of inactivity.
6. Mixed Mode:
Special modes for immediate lid closure or manual
intervention.
7. Low Power Mode:
Red light indicates low battery; replace batteries within 1
week.
8. Reset Mode:
The system will reset and close the lid upon power on, switching
to Standby mode.

Warning: 1. Battery: 4 x 1.5V AA batteries. 2. Non-rechargeable batteries are not to be recharged. 3. Different types of batteries or new and used batteries are not to be mixed. 4. Batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. 5. Exhausted batteries are to be removed from the appliance and safely disposed of. 6. If the appliance is to be stored unused for a long period, the batteries should be
removed. 7. The supply terminals are not to be short-circuited. 8. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. 9. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. 10. For remove and insert the batteries, please refer to “Operation Instruction” section.
Operation Instructions:
1. Install and remove the batteries 1.1 Open the battery cover on the underside of the bin lid and insert 4 x 1.5V AA batteries into the battery casing. Please make sure the batteries are to be inserted with the correct polarity. Close the battery cover and ensure it is secure before use. 1.2 When the batteries are exhausted, should be removed from the battery casing and safely disposed of.
2. Power on/off Press the “I” to turn on the sensor head. The LED lights will illuminate for 3 seconds before going dark. Press the “O” to turn OFF the sensor head.
3. Sensor Mode 3.1 The lid will automatically open when your hand or other objects is detected within 25CM(±5CM) above the sensor area ; If there are no obstructions detected within the
sensor area, the indicator panel will display a countdown of 5 seconds; After the countdown finishes, the bin lid will automatically close. 3.2 If there is something blocking the lid from closing, please remove the object and wave your hand above the sensor area to open the lid, the lid will automatically close after 5 seconds. 3.3 The lid will remain open when object is detected within the sensor area. The lid will automatically close after 5 seconds when the sensor area is clear.
4. Touch Mode Touch the key for opening or closing the lid. Each touch will switch the lid status. (open /close).
5. Standby Mode The system switches to “Standby” mode after lid is close. Lid will be close after 15mins if no any other manual touching the key.
6. Mixed Mode 6.1 After the lid is open, touch the button, the lid can be closed immediately, and switch to standby state. 6.2 During the opening or closing process, if the lid is forcefully close by hand, the system will immediately switch to standby mode.
7. Low Power Mode Red light indicates low battery, please replace new batteries in 1 week.
8. Reset Mode When the system is powered on, regardless of the position of the lid, the lid will automatically close and reset once, and then switch to standby state.
Maintaining: 1. Please keep the product away from fire. 2. Please use genuine high-performance alkaline batteries. 3. In order to prevent false trigger sensor, please keep the vertical distance within 60-70CM above the sensor clear. 4. Please do NOT pour water directly on the sensor area. 5. Avoid using the bin in a moist or steamy environment. 6. If there is an automatic shutdown in normal use, it indicates that the voltage has dropped to 2.7V or lower instantly, and the system turns to the protection mode. Please replace the batteries. 7. During the opening and closing process, please do NOT apply external force to the lid (violently or quickly shake the lid back and forth), which will damage the motor gear and shorten the life of the bin. 8. In order to ensure the life of the product and protect the motor from damage, to open and close the lid by hand frequently is PROHIBITED. 9. The product is not suitable for being too close to high-frequency electromagnetic radiation products, such as refrigerators, induction cookers, etc., otherwise it may cause interference and affect the use of the product. 10. Please avoid direct strong light on the sensing area, which may easily lead to abnormal sensing sensitivity.
