Product Usage Instructions:
- Download the required update from Microsoft by visiting this link.
- Unzip the downloaded folder to your desktop.
- Locate and run the appropriate firmware updater executable file for your device from the unzipped folder.
- If prompted with a security warning, click on “More info” and then select “Run anyway”.
- Select the device you want to update from the options provided.
- If necessary, install or reinstall the drivers by pressing the “(RE)INSTALL DRIVERS” button and allowing DriverInstaller.exe to run.
- Follow any on-screen instructions during the update process.
- When the BLAZE ENTERTAINMENT logo appears while holding the Volume Up button, turn off and on the device while still holding Volume Up if needed.
- Once the update is complete, your device should automatically restart.
- You can now close the program, disconnect your device, and start enjoying the updated features.

Note: It’s highly recommended/required you install the following update from Microsoft here before running the updater:
- Download x64 to run desktop apps: https://dotnet.microsoft.com/en-us/download/dotnet/3.1/runtime?cid=getdotnetcore&os=windows&arch=x64
- A lot of users will already have this installed however you might not especially if it’s a new copy of Windows.
- You will see these windows when you complete this update.
- Download the Update Installer – Unzip the folder to your desktop:
- CapcomTaito_Pocket_FirmwareUpdater_1.4.0-win_ x64.zip
- AtariTechnos_Pocket_FirmwareUpdater_1.4.0-win_ x64.zip
- Open the folder and run “CapcomTaito_Pocket_FirmwareUpdater_1.4.0-win_ x64.exe” or “AtariTechnos_Pocket_ FirmwareUpdater_1.4.0-win_x64.exe”.
- This window might pop up, click “more info” and click “Run anyway”.
- Select what device you want to update.
- You likely need to install or reinstall the driver. Press the “(RE)INSTALL DRIVERS” button, allow “DriverInstaller.exe” to run.
- You will then see the image below.
Note: When following the instructions and the BLAZE ENTERTAINMENT logo displays whilst connected to the device and you are holding Vol Up. Turn off the Super Pocket and turn it back on whilst still holding Vol up. (It might take a few tries so don’t worry!).
- Once the updater is finished, your Super Pocket should automatically restart!
Success! Unplug your Pocket and enjoy your shiny new firmware! - You can now close the program, unplug your Super Pocket and enjoy!
