Kindly Note

  • It takes a risk to update the firmware, please avoid updating the firmware when the device is used for the important events
  • To avoid the power being cut off suddenly during the updating, please make sure the device with enough power during the updating
  • The Solidcom C1 Pro – Roaming HUB upgrade takes around 20 minutes

Updating Tool

  •  A computer with Windows 10
  • Mac OS 12.6 system or a higher version
  • A USB flash disk which is 32G storage
  • A USB Type-C adapter

Operation Steps

Upgrade with USB disk
  1. Download the firmware file
  2. Prepare one USB disk with a USB-A port with memory less than 32GB.
  3. Plug the USB disk into the laptop, format the USB disk to FAT32, and put the upgrade firmware(.ota format) into the root directory ofthe USB disk(make sure only one firmware is inside) please do not put it inside any folder.
  4. Plug the USB disk into Roaming-HUB via USB-A port, the Roaming-HUB will recognize the USB disk and start upgrading, the Solidcom C1 Pro – Roaming HUB will reboot automatically after upgrading.

Upgrade with laptop

  • Download the firmware file
  • Connect the HUB to the laptop via LAN port with cat 5e cable, and then set up the HUB and laptop IP address in the same IP section(like 192.168.218.10 and 192.168.218.20), make sure both of them can communicate via LAN connection
  • Open web-based software by opening the HUB IP address(like 192.168.218.10) with a browser(recommended to use Google)
  • Login with default account and password(user name: admin, password:12345678)
  • Go to “settings”->”others”->”firmware update”, and select the “.ota” file to start upgrading, the Solidcom C1 Pro – Roaming HUB will reboot automatically after the upgrade.
Upgrade via cloud
  1. Connect the HUB to the Internet via a LAN port
  2. Go to the main menu of the HUB by long-press the middle button, and then go to “info” ->”system updating”(will need to make sure the firmware is ready on a cloud server, and the HUB with a good Internet connection)
