Safety instructions

Risk of electric shock

Do not open the product and do not operate it if it is damaged, if smoke, a strange smell, orloud noisess are coming from it. Immediately contact your dealer or our service department (see “Service and Support”).

Do not use the product if the AC adapter, the adapter cab, le, or the mains cable are damaged.
Do not attempt to service or repair the product yourself. Leaanyall service work to qualified experts.

Warning:
Only use power supply units appropriate to the power supply or a suitable USB connection with an output current of at least 1 A. If you will not be using the product for a prolonged period, disconnect it from mains power.

The product is intended for private, non-commercial use only.

Use the product only for the intended purpose.
Only use the article under moderate climatic conditions.

As with all electrical products, this device should be kept out of the reach of children.
Do not operate the product outside the power limits given in the specifications.

Do not use the product in areas in which electronic products are not permitted.
Do not drop the product and do not expose it to any major shocks.

Do not modify the product in any way. Doing so voids the warranty.
Dispose of packaging material immediately by the locally applicable regulations.

The product must only be operated on a supply network as described on the type plate.
Do not bend or crush the cable.

Do not open the device or continue to operate it if it becomes damaged.
Route all cables so that there is no risk of tripping.

Always pull directly on the plug when disconnecting the cable, never on the cable itself.
Do not use the product in the packaging or a rolled-up state.

Installing the Hama Smart Home app

To use all the functions of the device, you need a smartphone/tablet and the Hama Smart Home app.

Download the Hama Smart Home app from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play (Android) to your smartphone/tablet.
To install the app, follow the instructions on your smartphone/tablet.
Open the app on your smartphone/tablet.
Register to create a new account. Alternatively, log in with the access data of your existing account.
Follow the instructions for setting up the app until you can add a new device.

Integrating devices into the Hama Smart Home app

Download the Hama Smart Home app from the Apple App Store or Google Play.
Open the Hama Smart Home app.
The first time you use the app, you need to register and create a new account. If you already have an account, log in with your access details.s
Connect the product to a properly installed socket.
The smart product starts flashing quickly. If it does not, the product must be disconnected from and reconnected to the power supply three times in succession.
Open the app and sign in.
Press the + in the top right-hand corner to add a new device.
Choose Lamps from the list.

Ne,xt enter your WiFi password and confirm with “Next”.
Now confirm that the product is flashing quickly by ticking “Next step” and clicking “Next”.
Your product is now connected.

Once the connection is successful, the product stops flashing quickly and the app confirms that the product is connected. You can now assign it a different name if you wish.
Clifinishish to end the process.
Now you can control the product.

Utilisation by scenes
Scenarios and automated sequences that can be created in the app allow various combination options and usage options for these products, depending on the SmartHome products in your home. Programming is always via the app (see Section 4 of the App Guide) and will be offered/suggested to you on an individual basis.

Standard usage option

Control via voice assistants
The following voice commands are supported:

Switch on / off
“Alexa / OK Google, switch the light on”
Control colour
“Alexa / OK Google, switch the light to red

Technical data

Care and maintenance

Only clean this product with a slightly damp, lint-free cloth, and do not use aggressive cleaning products. Ensure that no water can enter the product.
Note: Disconnect the device from the mains before cleaning and during prolonged periods of non-use.
