The HT-COMALERT-KIT, when combined with the HT-OSIRIS-DSP, is a cutting-edge solution for enhancing communication and safety in conference rooms, classrooms, and other settings requiring microphone systems. This innovative system includes a wearable wireless microphone with a panic button (HT-OSIRIS-DSP needed for panic button feature), a wireless receiver, and a charging station. The HT-COMALERT-KIT can also be used standalone, connecting it directly into an amplifier or other digital signal processor system.
Designed for seamless integration and user-friendly operation, the HT-COMALERT system ensures clear and reliable audio reinforcement, while its advanced digital safety features provide an added layer of security. WIRELESS MICROPHONE FEATURES (HT-COMALERT-WM)

WIRELESS RECEIVER FEATURES (HT-COMALERT-WR)
- When used with the HT-OSIRIS-DSP, power to the receiver is from the DSP controller over a USBC cable
- Can simultaneously receive 2 different wireless microphones after each one is paired to the receiver.
- Provides analog outputs from either microphone, or a mix of both microphones.
- S.O.S. message is transmitted over USB-C to the HT-OSIRIS-DSP controller.
CHARGING BASE STAND FEATURES (HT-COMALERT-BASE)
- Can charge two microphones at the same time.
- Has an integrated USB-C Charging Cable that requires a minimum of a 10W USB-C charger.
- Indicator on charger shows status of the microphones
- Metal base holds the charger at the correct angle.

Installation
Note: Before installation, please ensure the device is disconnected from the power source.
- Position and install the mounting brackets (two at each side) using the mounting screws provided.
- Repeat above step for the other side of the device.
- Attach the brackets to the desired location.

There are various different application methods with wiring examples; two are shown below.

Microphone Use
PAIRING MICROPHONES
- Connect the HT-COMALERT-WM to power using either a USB power block or powered by the HT-OSIRIS-DSP, using the included USB-C to USB-C cable.
- On the HT-COMALERT-WR, press and hold the pairing button for more than 3 seconds to enter pairing status. The LED will go green with fast flashing on the receiver.
- On the HT-COMALERT-WM, Press and hold the volume up and down buttons at the same time for more than 3 seconds to enter pairing status. The LED on the microphone will turn green with fast flashing.
- When successfully paired, the status LED on the receiver will be solid green.
CONNECTING DIRECTLY TO AMPLIFIER
- Connect the HT-COMALERT-WM to power using a USB power block and using the included USB-C to USB-C cable.
- Connect each microphone’s individual line-level output, or the mix microphone line-level output, directly to the amplifier’s line-level input.
- Adjust volume using either the volume buttons on the microphone, or at the amplifier.
USING THE S.O.S. FEATURE
- To trigger the S.O.S. feature, hold the side buttons at the same time for more than 3 seconds. When triggered, the alarm status will be red with fast flashing.
- To turn off the trigger, either:
a. Hold the side buttons again at the same time for more than 3 seconds to return to previous status.
b. Return the wireless microphone to the charging base station.
MICROPHONES OUT OF RANGE
- When a wireless microphone is taken outside of the rated 100ft line-of-sight range, the S.O.S. alarm will be triggered.
- Return the wireless microphone to the area within the range to turn off the alarm.
CHARGING MICROPHONES
- Using the included USB-C charging cable and block, connect cable to the USB-C port on the back of the HT-COMALERT-BASE.
- Set the wireless microphone on either charging port and ensure it is sitting properly.
- When charging, the wireless microphone’s status LED will be orange.
- When charging is complete and full, the status LED will turn off.
MICROPHONE LANYARD
- The lanyard and microphone are both magnetic. Simply press the two together to connect the microphone to the lanyard.
- Adjust the lanyard around your neck with the goal of bringing the microphone as close to the presenter’s mouth as possible.
a. NOTE: the lanyard has a break-away safety cord.
