GENERIC INFORMATION

- A grounding type plug has two blades and a third grounding prong. The wide blade or the third prong are provided for your safety.

BATTERIES DISPOSAL
Information on safe removal of batteries:
- Make sure the battery is completely run out.
- Press the end of the battery cover, slide it back, and lift the cover; then carefully remove the batteries and replace them with new ones.
- The batteries can be disposed separately.

QUICK START
TURNING ON AND OFF THE CD-5
- Connect the CD-5 to the power using the supplied power cord.
- The status LED turns red to indicate the CD-player is on standby.
- With the remote: press the power button once (don’t hold it down) to switch ON/OFF the CD-5.
- With the touchscreen: tap the display on the left part and hold for 3 seconds to turn ON/OFF the unit.
USING THE CD-5
Thanks to the touchscreen display all the functions of the CD-5 can be adjusted on the go. The display shows the track number, the time progression and the play mode.
LOADING AND UNLOADING DISCS
- Tap the EJECT button on the display or on the remote to open the tray.
- Insert the disc and close the tray by pressing again the EJECT button or tapping on the display.
- The CD-5 will load the disc before displaying the playback controls.
- The disc can be ejected at anytime only after the playback has stopped.
PLAYBACK CONTROLS
- Press
PLAY once to start the playback.
- Press SKIP
to advance or skip the track forwards and backward.
- Press PAUSE
to pause the playback.
- Press STOP
to cancel the playback.
- Press and hold SKIP
to move forward/backward on the track a slow speed. Hold SKIP for more than 3 seconds to move forward/backward on the track at high speed.
Swipe the finger left/right to enter the menu and browse the settings, then tap once to adjust the selected setting.
To exit the menu, swipe until BACK is selected, then tap once.
PLAY MODE
The CD-5 supports several playback modes
Normal play
Plays once all the tracks in incremental order.Shuffle
Plays once all the tracks on the disc in random order.Shuffle repeat
Plays all the tracks on the disc in random order. Starts again when finished.Repeat all
Plays all the tracks in incremental order. Starts again from track 1 after playing the last track.Repeat track
Plays the selected track on repeat.
DISPLAY BRIGHTNESS
Swipe the finger left/right to choose the desired brightness, then tap it once to confirm.
The brightness can be set to:
- High
- Low
- OFF
When the display is set to OFF, tap the display or push a button on the remote to activate it again for 3 seconds.

REMOTE CONTROL
USING THE REMOTE CONTROL
Select CD on the remote, then use the buttons for playback control to conveniently operate the CD-5 from your listening position.
To play a specific track, use the numbers on the key pad to select it, playback will start automatically.
PLEASE NOTE
To play a specific track ensure the CD-5 is set to Normal, Repeat All or Repeat Track.
If the CD-5 is set to a different playback mode, selecting a track from the remote will force the CD-5 to automatically switch to Normal play mode.

- Please note that the warranty does not cover in any case: Tubes, Phono Cartridge Stylus and Batteries.

TROUBLESHOOTING
CLEANING THE UNIT
With EXTREME care use ONLY water or detergents for delicate surfaces with a very soft cloth to sweep dust and remove stains.
Any acid or not extremely soft cloth will irreversibly damage the unit. Do not use alcohol.
