DEVICE LAYOUT
POWER ON/POWER OFF
HoId for I second to power on.- HoId for 5 seconds to power off.
- Stretch out the controller, and it will automatically turn on.
- NaturaIly, the controller will power off when collapsed. However, in G-Touch mode, it will remain powered on.
CONNECTION STATE
MODE DESCRIPTION
- In working status, press corresponding key combination to switch to the desired mode.
- After successfully connecting to iOS in DS4 mode, the default color changes to light orange.
CONNECT TO THE ANDROID DEVICE THROUGH BLUETOOTH
- With the controller power off, hold
to power on, and the Home Indicator will blink yellow rapidly. - 0pen the Bluetooth list on your phone, select “GameSir-G8+”, and click it to connect.
- A solid yellow Home Indicator signifies a successful connection.
- After successful connection, when powered off, press the Home button briefly to power on and automatically reconnect.
CONNECT TO THE iOS DEVICE THROUGH BLUETOOTH
- With the controller power off, hold
to power on, and the Home Indicator will blink blue rapidly. - 0pen the Bluetooth list on your phone, select “DUOLSHOK 4 Wireless Controller”, and click it to connect.
- A steady light orange on the Home indicator indicates a successful connection. You can change the color of the Home indicator under this mode in “Settings-General—Game Controllers” on your phone. When holding down the M button, it will be blue.
- After successful connection, when powered off, press the Home button briefly to power on and automatically reconnect.
PLAY MAPPING GAMES ON ANDROID VIA BLUETOOTH CONNECTION IN G-TOUCH MODE
- With the controller power off, hold
to power on, and the Home Indicator will blink cyan rapidly. - 0pen the Bluetooth list on your phone, select “GameSir-G8+_G”, and click it to connect.
- A solid cyan Home indicator signifies a successful connection.
- After successful connection, when powered off, press the Home button briefly to power on and automatically reconnect.
CONNECT TO SWITCH THROUGH BLUETOOTH
- Go to Switch’s Home Menu, select “Controllers”
“Change Grip/Order” to enter the pairing interface. - With the controller power off, hold
to power on, and the Home Indicator will blink red rapidly. - A solid red Home Indicator signifies a successful connection.
- After successful connection, when powered off, press the Home button briefly to power on and automatically reconnect.
CONNECT TO A DEVICE THROUGH WIRED CONNECTION
- Use the provided Type-C cable to complete the connection and it will automatically recognize the device.
- After connecting to the device, the controller will automatically switch to the corresponding mode, then it can be used normally. Press and hold
the controller will change between
XBox/Switch/DS4 modes in consequence.- For Switch device: After connecting to the Switch with cable, please open the “Settings-controllers & Sensors-Pro Controller wired communication”.
- Supported in Receiver and Wired mode only.
BACK BUTTON SETTING
(The mappable buttons are: AIBIXlYlLBlRBlLTlRTlLSlRSlD-padl-l+)
- Set the L4/R4 button value: Hold the M+L4/R4 buttons simultaneously until the Mode/Home Indicator blinks white slowly. Then press the button(a single button or key combo) you want to map, then press the L4/R4 button. When the Mode/Home Indicator return to the corresponding mode light, the L4/R4 button value is set. In the key combo setting, the interval time for each button will be triggered according to the operation time set during programming.
- CanceI the L4/R4 button value: Hold the M+L4/R4 buttons simultaneously until the Mode/Home Indicator blinks white slowly, then press the L4/R4 button. When the Mode Indicator return to the corresponding mode light, the L4/R4 button value is canceled.
- It can be set to trigger a single key or multiple buttons for L4/R4 (up to a maximum of 16 button values triggered).
- After 10 seconds of inactivity when setting, the controller will automatically exit the setting mode and the operation will not be saved.
TURBO FUNCTION SETTING
Programmable button: A/B/X/Y/LB/RB/LT/RT button.
Four-speed adjustment: Slow gear with 8Hz, Medium gear with 12Hz, Fast gear with 20Hz, Off. 1.Set the Turbo Function: Hold the M button + the desired button. When the Home Indicator flashes, it indicates a successful activation. Repeat the operation to cycle through the gears. 2.CIear Turbo Function: Double-click the M button to clear all Turbo setting. The Home light flashes green twice to indicate a successful operation.
KEY COMBINATION
CHARGING
- Only the right battery charges when the controller is in the stretched state.
- Both left and right batteries charge when the controller is folded.
- The controller does not automatically power off when folded during charging.
- In charging mode, the Mode indicator breathes to indicate the current battery level.
AIB, xlY BUTTON POSITIONS CAN BE SWAPPED
The A/B/X/Y keycaps use a magnetic design, allowing for the exchange of button layouts according to personal preference.
- Remove the top cover. On the left side of A/B/X/Y keycaps, there is a reserved groove. Align your fingertips with the groove and gently pull the A/B/X/Y keycap out from the left groove
. - With the removed keycap, position the A/B/X/Y label facing upwards.
Align it with the corresponding platform’s label position and put it in, then the installation is completed.- There are two layouts available: Xbox button layout (Up: Y, Left: X, Down: A, Right: B); Switch button layout (Up: X, Left: Y, Down: B, Right: A).
- The default layout is the Xbox button layout.
STICKS & TRIGGERS CALIBRATION
- Connect your phone to the controller. Hold the
buttons for 2s until the Home Indicator and Mode Indicator blink white slowly, indicating that the calibration mode is entered. - 1n calibration mode, follow below steps to complete calibration:
- Rotate the sticks at their maximum angles 3 times and let them return to the initial position naturally.
- Press the triggers to their maximum travel 3 times and let them return to their initial position naturally.
- Presso
complete and exit the calibration mode.
- Calibration should be kept at a constant speed and gently operated to avoid errors while collecting data.
- If the sticks and triggers can be used normally, please do not calibrate.
GYROSCOPE CALIBRATION
Place the controller horizontally on a flat surface, then hold
buttons. The Home Indicator will rapidly flash red and blue until it returns to the mode indication, indicating that the calibration is completed.

Download GameSir App at gamesir.hk on phone or scan the QR code on the right. Use GameSir App for firmware upgrade, stick & trigger zones adjustment, vibration intensity adjustment, button testing, etc.
