Thank you for your purchase of a Galaxy Audio hairline/lavalier microphone. This clear sound. M aesthetically pleasing, hands-on design is ideal for stage formers. Vocalists, presenters, coaches, teachers, or anyone who uses a microphone while speaking or performing.
The microphone works great with many wireless transmitters available. Detachable cables are available to use your headset mic with transmitters made by Galaxy Audio®, AKG®, Shure®, Audio Technica®, Sennheiser®, etc. When attaching the cable to the headset do not over-tighten the threaded connector. You can also use the microphone with most PC sound cards (adaptor not included).

HOW TO WEAR THE MICROPHONE
Forehead or Hairline Placement
Preparation
- Clean the skin where the microphone will be placed to ensure better adhesion.
- For performers with longer hair, tie the hair back to keep it out of the way.
Attachment
- Place the microphone at the center of the forehead, just below the hairline.
- Use medical-grade adhesive tape or a special mic mount designed for forehead placement.
- Ensure the microphone is securely attached and facing downward toward the mouth.
- Consider these tape types: Soft Moleskin Tape Strips, Hypoallergenic medical tape, Transparent
- Surgical tape, and Micropore Surgical Tape.
Cable Management
- Run the cable along the hairline and down the back of the head.
- Use hair clips or tape to secure the cable along the scalp and prevent movement.
Lavalier Placement
- Insert mic wire into the shirt clip about an inch from the capsule.
- Wire through clothing to conceal the mic wire or if wearing a tie button-up shirt, or jacket simply wire through and clip the mic to the edge of the garment. Try to avoid any areas where clothing or body hair might graze the mic element.
- Place on the chest about an average hand width from the mouth. Roughly the distance from the tip of the thumb to the tip of the pinky finger when fully stretched or about 8 to 9 inches but less than 12 inches.
Tips for Optimal Placement
- Distance: Always ensure the microphone is less than 12 inches from the mouth for clear audio capture.
- Direction: The microphone should be facing the mouth and not obstructed by hair or clothing.
- Secure: Use appropriate adhesive, clips, or mounts to keep the microphone in place during performance.
- Tape: Consider these types: Soft Moleskin Tape Strips, Hypoallergenic medical tape, Transparent Surgical tape, and Micropore Surgical Tape. GAF Tape (if attaching to clothing)

When attaching the cable to the mic cable do not over-tighten the threaded connector. Physical damage is not covered under warranty.
