Product Usage Instructions
Installation and Operation Inspection
1. Remove the unit from the shipping package and inspect for
damage.
2. Notify the carrier and place of purchase if any damage is
found.
3. The shipping package contains: Maintenance bypass switch
module x 1, Quick guide x 1, Mains power cord x 1.
Connect to the Wall Outlet
1. Plug the input power cord of the unit into the wall
outlet.
Connect UPS
1. Connect a power cord from UPS input to UPS input socket on
the unit.
2. Use one power cord to connect UPS output to UPS output socket
on the unit.
Operation – Transfer to Maintenance Bypass
1. Ensure utility power is normal before transferring to
maintenance bypass.
2. Transfer the rotary bypass switch from Normal to Bypass.
3. All connected devices are now powered by utility power
directly.
4. Turn off the UPS and disconnect the cables connecting to UPS
for servicing.
Operation – Transfer to UPS Protection
1. After maintenance service, ensure UPS operation is
normal.
2. Reconnect UPS to the unit following the Installation
Section.
3. Transfer the rotary bypass switch from Bypass to Normal.
4. All connected devices are now protected by UPS.

4. Operation Transfer to Maintenance Bypass Before transferring to maintenance bypass, make sure the utility is normal. Transfer the rotary bypass switch from “Normal” to “Bypass”. At this time, all connected devices are powered by the utility power directly. You may turn off the UPS and disconnect two cables connecting to UPS. Then you may now service the UPS.
Transfer to UPS Protection After maintenance service is done, make sure the UPS operation is normal. Then, reconnect UPS to the unit by following Installation Section. Then, transfer the rotary bypass switch from “Bypass” to “Normal”. Now, all connected devices are protected by UPS.
