This product guide contains important information about the safety and use of this product. Please read and follow these instructions carefully and keep this manual in a safe place for future reference. When unpacking and before disposing of the box, check there is no transportation damage before using the product. Battery

  • AirLink XLR has a built-in rechargeable battery and operates without a power cable.
  • When the battery is in charge, its power indicator shows RED and will turn to GREEN when it is fully charged.
  • When battery capacity is less than 30% during working time, the red and green charge indication will turn on for 2 seconds, and then turn off for 2 seconds in turn till you connect the device to a charger.
  • It takes about 3.5 hours to fully charge one AirLink XLR. AirLink XLR transmitter can work up to 18 hours, and AirLink XLR receiver 50 hours.

A few points to note about the battery.

  • Do not deplete the batteries below 10%.
  • Do not charge the batteries for more than 10 hours.
  • Always keep the batteries away from the flame at any time.
  • If the battery is completely discharged, AirLink XLR may not be switched on immediately after plugged into the charger.
  • In this case, wait a few minutes to turn on the device.

OPERATION

Switch on/off the Device
To switch on the AirLink transmitter and receiver, keep pressing the power switch button “On/Off” for 3 seconds, then release the button. The power indicator will turn red. The device is switched on now. When the AirLink transmitter and/or receiver are switched on, to switch off the device(s), keep pressing the power switch button “On/Off” for 3 seconds, then release the button. The power indicator will turn off. The device is switched off now.

To Clear Wireless DMX Memory
To Clear Wireless DMX Memory of A Single Device

To clear the wireless DMX memory of one single AirLink transmitter, keep pressing the red button TX CIlAR for 3 seconds, then release it. The blue wireless indicator will turn off. After 10 seconds, the blue indicator will turn on again. This means you have erased its wireless DMX memory. To dear wireless DMX memory of one single AirLink receiver, keep pressing the green button ” RX CLEAR” for 3 seconds, then release it. The green wireless indicator will turn to white. This means you have erased its wireless DMX memory.

To Clear All Wireless DMX Memory
If an AirLink transmitter (Master unit) has been set up to work with other AirLink receivers (Slave units), users can clear wireless DMX memory for ALL Master and Slave units with one operation. Keep pressing the AirLink transmitter red button FOS Technologies-AIRLINK-XLR-Wireless-DMX-Receiver-FIG- (5) for 3 seconds, then release it. The blue wireless indicator will turn off. After 10 seconds, the blue indicator will turn on again, and all AirLink RX wireless DMX indicators will turn white. This means you have erased the wireless DMX memory for all devices.

Pairing

To pair an AriLink transmitter to AirLink receivers, keep the AirLink receivers within 200m (line of sign) of the transmitter.

Press the red button FOS Technologies-AIRLINK-XLR-Wireless-DMX-Receiver-FIG- (5) on the AirLink transmitter will start to connect to the AirLink receivers automatically. The wireless DMX indicator on the transmitter will turn blue, and the wireless DMX indicator on the receivers will turn green. This means the AirLink transmitter has successfully connected to AirLink receivers. After pairing successfully, the AirLink transmitter’s wireless DMX indicator will stay always on, and the AirLink receiver’s wireless DMX indicator will turn off in 5 seconds. You now can control your fixtures with wireless DMX.
