JLINK-RX-AD User’s Manual
The JLINK-RX-AD is designed to work with FDI’s products that utilize a mini-JTAG connector. Products include the following:

  • uEZGUI-RX62N-35QT (Rev 2 boards require rework of the adapter board to work properly)
  • SOMDIMM-RX62N

This product is intended for users who currently own a 14-pin JTAG debugger that is compatible with RX-based processors like the SEGGER J-Link Lite RX, no debugger is included with this product. FDI products with a JTAG interface use a reduced-size JTAG connector based on a 2mm header. This smaller connector provides 100% of the functionality of the standard 14-pin JTAG connector but utilizes 70% less board space.

Rework for Revision 2 uEZGUI-RX62N-35QT Boards

  • To rework the JLINK-RX-AD to work with uEZGUI-RX62N-35QT boards desolder the connector J2 and resolder it to the opposite side of the board.
