INSTRUCTION FOR USE
Connecting the power
Plug the power adapter into the power socket of the unit. Please fully charge the battery before first time used the unit.
Turning on/off the speaker
Long-press the
button to turn on/off the unit
Demo songs play/stop
Play pre-installed demo songs(Totally 4 pre-installed demo songs, it will stop play demo songs when press 5th times on the Demo bution.)
Speaker Lights
You can turn on/off the Multi-color LED lights by pressing the LED button. Thereares 5 types of modes for selection:
- Multi-color LED lights
- Single blue light
- Single green light
- Single red light
- Turn off the LED lights. When there is an LED light, it will be synchronized with music.
Connect the Bluetooth audio output device.
To connect a Bluetooth audio output device (e.g. smartphone or tablet PC), proceed as follows:
Switch the speaker on.
Press the MODE button on the unit to switch to BLUETOOTH function, you will hear the Bluetooth prompt sound bluetooth and the function status indicator will turn blue. Turn on the Bluetooth function on the device, scan the unit “Emerson EDS-1000” and connect. When it is connected successfully, the blue indicator will become solid. Press Play to start playback. Press the VOL-/+ button on the unit or adjust the volume on the external device to increase or decrease the music volume to your desired level. Press and hold the PLAY button to disconnect Bluetooth
Note: The Bluetooth works best within 10 meters in open air.
Connecting an external playback device VIA AUX IN
Connect your audio device to the AUX IN terminal on the rear panel of the unit with an AUX IN cable (audio cable is not included). Press the MODE bution on the unit to switch to AUX IN function, you will hear the prompt sound AUX IN and function status indicator will turn pink. Press the VOL-/+ bution on the unit or adjust the volume on the external device to increase or decrease the music volume to your desired level. Control the playback with your audio device.
Inserting USB memory sticks
- Plug the USB memory stick to the USB terminal on the rear of the unit, function status indicator will turn red.The unit will switch to USB mode automatically or you can press MODE bution to switch to USB mode. To pause playback, press the (PLAY )bution on the unit. To resume playback, press the (PLAY )bution again.To select a desired track, long press

Connecting a microphone
Insert the cord of the microphone (not supplied) into the MIC plug on the back of the unit. Press the button to switch to MIC mode. Details please refer to button 14 for Microphone use instruction

- Do not expose the speaker to heat or fire. Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
- Do not subject the speaker to mechanical shock.
- Do not add any fluids or solids to your speaker.
- Do not use the speaker if it has been damaged in any way.
Troubleshooting
No Power
- The unit does not have enough battery power.
- The battery is completely depleted. Recharge the battery.
No Sound
- Make sure the input LEVEL control is turned up.
- Make sure signal source is working and the connecting cables are in good shape and securely connected at both ends. MaKe sure the output volume control on the mixing console is turned up.
- Make sure the preamp or mixer does not have a Mute button engaged.
Noise is heard during playback
Move the speaker away from any computers or mobile phones.
Bluetooth: No sound is heard.
The unit is too far from the Bluetooth audio source device. The unit is not paired with the Bluetooth audio source device. The unit is not pressed PLAY bution for playback.
