Output Ports
- The car charger shares power with the DC5521 output port, offering a maximum output of 126W.
- The DBS3500’s AC input frequency will automatically adapt to the input frequency of 50Hz or 60Hz when doing AC charging. The AC output frequency will automatically follow the AC input frequency. After the changing the frequency, please turn off the unit and reboot it.

Usage
- Do not use the product near a heat source, such as a fire source or a heating furnace.
- Avoid contact with any liquid. Do not immerse the product in water or get it wet. Do not use the product in rain or humid environments.
- Do not use the product in an environment with strong static electricity or magnetic fields.
- Do not disassemble the product in any way or pierce the product with sharp objects.
- Avoid using wires or other metal objects that may result in a short circuit.
- Do not use unofficial components or accessories. If you need to replace any components or accessories, visit official Dabbsson channels to check for relevant information.
- It is highly recommended that third-party accessories are purchased from reliable distributors and that they match your product’s specifications. Dabbsson is not liable for abnormality, inconvenience, losses or expenses resulting from defective third-party accessories.
- When using the product, please strictly follow the operating environment temperature specified in this user manual. If the temperature is too high, it may result in a fire or explosion; if the temperature is too low, the product performance may be severely reduced, or the product may cease to work.
- Do not forcibly lock the fan during use or place the product in an unventilated or dusty area.
- Avoid impact, falls, or severe vibrations when using the product. In case of a severe external impact, turn off the power supply immediately and stop using the product. Ensure the product is well fastened during transportation to avoid vibrations and impacts.
- If you accidentally drop the product into water during use, place it in a safe open area, and stay away from it until it is completely dry. The dried product should not be used again, and should be properly disposed of according to Section 2.2 below. If the product catches fire, we recommend that you use the fire extinguishers in the following order: water or water mist, sand, fire blanket, dry powder, and finally a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher.
- Use a dry cloth to clean off dirt on the product ports.
- Rest the product on a flat surface to avoid damage caused by the product falling over.
If the product is overturned and severely damaged, turn it off immediately, place the battery in an open area, keep it away from combustible matter and people, and dispose of it in accordance with local laws and regulations. - Ensure that the product is kept out of reach of children and pets.
- The smart extra battery can only be connected to the host, and the smart extra battery cannot be connected to each other.
Disposal Guide
- If conditions permit, make sure that the battery is fully discharged before disposing of it in a designated battery recycling bin. The product contains batteries with potentially dangerous chemicals, so it is strictly prohibited to dispose of it in ordinary trash cans. For more details, please follow the local laws and regulations on battery recycling and disposal.
- If the battery cannot be fully discharged due to a product failure, do not dispose of the battery directly in the battery recycling box. In such cases, contact a professional battery recycling company for further processing.
- Please dispose of over-discharged batteries that cannot be recharged.

Battery Level Indicator
- Press and hold the IOT button for 3 seconds, and the Wi-Fi icon will flash, indicating that the product is ready for pairing. If the product pairing is completed, the Wi-Fi icon will stay on.
General Product Usage
Charging DBS3500
AC Charging
- Dabbsson’s fast charge technology is specifically for AC charging, offering 1800W of max input power. You can control the charging power through the AC Charge Speed Switch.
- The default max input power for the AC charging speed is 600W, which can be modified in the Dabbsson app.
- In case of unusual situations where the AC input current remains higher than 20A, the charging input port will initiate a self-protection function, and the Overload Protection Switch on the product will automatically pop up.
- After confirming that there is no product failure, you can press the Overload Protection Switch to resume charging.
Frequency Change
- The factory default frequency of the unit is 60Hz. When used for the first time, charge the unit with grid power for 1 minute in the off state, and the unit will automatically identify and change the frequency of the grid power.
- If there is a frequency change when using the unit, please turn off the AC Input and turn off the unit completely.
- Charge the unit with new grid power for 1 minute, and the unit will automatically switch to the frequency of the grid power.
- The charging power can be adjusted through the AC Charge Speed Switch on the side of the product.
- You can set the charging power range in the Dabbsson App.
Please use the AC Charging Cable included in the package for fast charging. Do not use other cables to charge. - Plug directly into an AC wall outlet and make sure that the wall output current is more than 15A.Otherwise, reduce the unit charging speed with the AC Charge Speed Switch. Dabbsson takes no responsibility for any consequences caused by failures to follow instructions, including but not limited to charging with other AC charging cables.
Solar Charging
Users can connect solar panels in series as shown in the figure to recharge the product. The product supports 12-150V DC input, 25A max current, and 2400W max charging power.
AC+PV Charging
You can fully charge the product with AC+PV total 3400W Max input in 2 hours.
Car Charging
- Users can recharge the product through the Car Outlet. It supports 12V/24V car chargers and an 8A default charging current.
- Only charge using the car charger after you’ve started the car.This prevents the car from failing to start due to insufficient battery power.
- In addition, please make sure that the cigarette lighter of the Car Outlet and the Car Charger Input Cable are in good condition. Dabbsson takes no responsibilities for any losses or damage caused by failures to follow instructions.
How to use extra batteries pack and parallel connection
Adding extra battery pack
A single DBS3500 can be connected to two DBS5300B extra batteries for added capacity. Refer to the Extra Battery DBS5300B user manual for detailed instructions.
- DBS3500 can expand the capacity by 1 DBS5300B battery pack to 8750Wh.
- DBS3500 can expand the capacity by 2 DBS5300B battery pack to 14070Wh. Please refer to Dabbsson support youtube channel for detailed installation instructions.
Precautions
- Turn off both the Extra Battery DBS5300B and DBS3500 before plug or unplug the extra battery.
- Before using, make sure both DBS3500 and Extra Battery DBS5300B display the extra battery icon on their LCD screens.
- Do not touch the metal terminals of the Extra Battery DBS5300B connector. If the metal terminals need to be cleaned, gently wipe them with a dry cloth.
- When the DBS3500 power station and DBS5300B expandable battery are not in use, please remove the connecting cable.
- To protect the battery from over-discharging,please unplug the cable when the unit is fully charged or not in use.
- When the device is running, inserting or unplugging the parallel cable will turn off the output of the host. You need to press the host button again to unlock it, and then press the output switch.
- When upgrading the product, please disconnect all the input connections(AC input Cable, DC input cable).
- When the product is turned off and connected with low solar input, pressing the power on button will cause the solar charging function to be invalid. Please keep the product on when connecting low solar input. If the solar input is high enough, the product will automatically start charging when the product is turned off.
Parallel Connection Function
- DBS3500 supports the parallel function, which can increase the output power and expand the battery capacity.
- Using our special parallel connector and connecting wires, two products can be connected, and the output power will be increased to 7000W Max, and the battery capacity will be expanded to 6860Wh.
- At the same time, this product also supports parallel operation, two products are respectively connected to two DBS5300B and powered on (2*DBS3500+4*DBS5300B), at this time the capacity can be expanded to 28140Wh.
- You can use this product as a home backup power station in case of a power outage.
- (If connecting to grid power during parallel connection, the inverter will quit parallel connection and enter charging and bypass mode).
- Reminder: The parallel connector need to be purchased separately; for detailed parameters,please refer to the manual of the parallel connector.

Control the product
Power On/Off
- Short press the Main Power Button to start the product, the LCD screen lights up and displays an icon.
- It will automatically turn off after the product is idle for 30 Minutes. When the device senses any load change or operation, the display screen will automatically light up.
- To turn the display on or off, short press the Main Power Button. To turn off the device, long press the Main Power Button. The default standby time is 2 hours.
- The device will automatically shut down when other power buttons are turned off and no other power source is detected within 2 hours. Standby time of AC and DC can be set via the Dabbsson APP.
Charging Your Devices
AC Output Port
- After turning on the main power button, short press the AC power button to use the AC output port. Press the button again will turn it off.
- You can turn on/off the standby mode on Dabbsson APP. When the standby mode is off, you can set the timeout time of AC and DC output.
- When the AC output remains lower than 35W for longer than the time set, the AC output will turn off automatically.
- When the DC/USB output remains lower than 2W for longer than the time set, the DC output will turn off automatically.
- When the unit is not charging and the AC/DC output switches are both off, the unit will turn off the main power automatically after 2 hours.
- When the standby mode is on, the timeout time of AC/DC can not be set and the unit will not turn off automatically.
12V DC Output Port
After the main power supply is turned on, short press the DC power switch to use the DC output port. Short press the DC power switch again to turn off the DC output port.
Emergency Power Supply (EPS)
- The product supports EPS. When you connect the grid power to the AC Input Port of the product through an AC cable, you can power electrical devices through the AC Output Port
- (AC power will come from the grid and not the power station in this situation). In case of a sudden blackout, the product can automatically switch to the battery powered supply mode within 15ms.
- As a basic UPS function, this function does not support 0ms switching.
- Please do not connect the product to any device that requires 0ms UPS, such as data servers and workstations.
- Please test and confirm the compatibility before using the product.
- We recommend that you only charge one device at a time and avoid using multiple devices at the same time to avoid overload protection.
- Dabbsson takes no responsibilities for any device failures or data losses caused by failures to follow instructions.(When the AC output load is greater than the input load, only the battery can be used for power supply.
- Only when the AC output load is less than the input load, can it be charged while discharging.)

Connecting the APP to the product
Method 1: Auto search
- Connect the mobile phone to home 2.4G Wi-Fi network, open the DABBSSON APP, select “+Add Device” or the “+” symbol on the upper right corner of the home page.
- Tap to open BT authorization dialog box and select allow to turn on BT Service. Allow New Connections.
- Wait for the unit to search nearby device
- After the device is found, select “Add”.
- Enter home Wi-Fi name and passwords and select “Next step
- Add the power station and wait for it to connect
- Select “Complete” after the device is added successfully If the adding failed and shows following interface, please selectt “Reconnect” until the complete interface appears.
- After complete adding the device, select a UI style and select “Set to current style” and enter the APP control interface.
Method 2: Add manually
- Connect the mobile phone to home 2.4G Wi-Fi network, open the DABBSSON APP, select “+Add Device” or the “+” symbol on the upper right corner of the home page.
- Select device model
- Long press the “IOT RESET” button on the device until you hear a “beep” and let go. Then select “Next step”.
- 4 Enter home Wi-Fi name and passwords and select “Next step
- Tap “Go to connect” and enter the phone’s Wi-Fi setting. Select the Power station hotspot and connect to that hotspot.
- Go back to the APP interface, confirm the connection and wait for the device to connect
After the device is added successfully,select “Start using”.If the adding failed and shows following interface, please select “Reconnect” until the complete interface appears.
- After complete adding the device, select a UI style and select “Set to current style” and enter the APP control interface. After successfully connecting and adding the power station through Wi-Fi for the firs time, the APP can still operate the power station through BT offline after leaving the Wi-Fi network environment, but it must be within 10 meters
Power station firmware update
- Tap the device you want to upgrade, enter the device interface, tap the icon in the upper right corner to enter the setting page, find and click the firmware update option, enter the device update page, click “Update” at the bottom of the page, click “Confirm” on the pop-up window, wait for the firmware update, update After success, click Confirm to complete the update.
- If the power station’s firmware update failed, please try again.

What type of batteries does the product use?

What devices can use the product’s AC output port power?
With 3600W rated power and 7200W peak power, the product’s AC output port can power most household appliances. Before using we recommend you check the power of the appliances first and ensure the power sum of all loaded appliances is lower than the rated power.
How long does it take for the product to charge my devices?
The charging time is shown on the product’s LCD Screen, which can be used to estimate the charging time of most appliances with stable power usage
How can I tell if the product is charging?
The remaining charging time will be shown on the LCD Screen. The charging indicator will display remaining battery percentage, while current input power is shown to the right of the charging indicator.
How do I clean the product?
Please gently wipe it with a dry, soft, clean cloth or paper towel.
How should I store the product?
Before storing, turn off the product first, and then store it in a dry,ventilated area at room temperature.Do not place it near water sources. For long-term storage, discharge the battery to 20% and recharge it to 80% every three months to extend its battery life.

8. What is the minimum wattage of solar input you recommend?
Due to the large capacity and high output power of this product, it is recommended that the solar input power should be at least 30-50W.

What’s in the Box
Storage & Maintenance
- Ideally,you should use and store the product at an ambient temperature between 20℃-30℃ (68℉-86℉), and always keep it away from water, intense heat, and sharp objects. Do not store in temperatures above 45℃ (113℉) or below -10℃ (14℉) for an extended period.
- Storing a battery with a low charge for a long period shortens its lifespan. DBS3500 mitigates the damage by putting the battery into hibernation mode. To get the most out of the battery, make sure it is at about 80% before putting DBS3500 into long-term storage. While in storage, it is recommended to discharge the battery to 20% and recharge it back to 80% every three months.
