Preparation

Preparing a Power Supply

Using the AC Adaptor

Connect the AC adaptor as shown in the right illustration.
Make sure that you use only the AC adaptor specified for this Digital Keyboard.

Using Batteries

Bottom of console
2 Insert AA-size batteries into the battery case (CT-S1-76: 8 batteries/CT-S1: 6 batteries).
Specify the battery type. See “Specifying the Battery Type” on the reverse side of this sheet.

The illustration shows the CT-S1. The CT-S1 has 61 keys; the CT-S1-76 has 76 keys.

Computer, smartphone, etc. (commercially available)
Connect using a USB cable that is no more than two meters long. For the CT-S1-76, connect the power cord to the AC adaptor.

Practicing with the Metronome

Basic Operation

Touch Response
Pressing a key harder produces louder sound, while a softer key press produces softer sound.
Auto Power Off
Automatically turns off power after 20 minutes* of non-use. (On, Off switchable) * 30 minutes for the CT-S1

Pedal
Sustains notes played while the pedal is depressed. Even if the keys played are released, notes are sustained as if the keys remain pressed, until the pedal is released.

Enjoy a range of fun functions using the Digital Keyboard together with the CASIO MUSIC SPACE app. Please visit the “Downloads” section of our website. Only the CT-S1-76 is compatible with the Remote Controller, which allows remote control of functions and settings on the Digital Keyboard via an app. The WU-BT10 (sold separately) or a commercially available USB cable is required to connect the Digital Keyboard to a smart device.
