Audyssey ACM1-X Calibration Microphone
User Guide
Overview:
The ACM1-X is a precision calibrated measurement microphone designed to work with Audyssey’s MultEQ-X measurement software and supported AV receivers.
ACM1-X microphones are individually calibrated against a Type I reference microphone with traceability to NIST standards. Each microphone has a unique serial number and a corresponding correction file available for download within the MultEQ-X application.
Using the ACM1-X with its corresponding correction file provides exceptional accuracy of measurements in terms of overall frequency response and sensitivity.
Usage:
- Download and install the MultEQ-X application from the Microsoft store: https://www.microsoft.com/store/productId/9P0SMVDTVHQJ
- Refer to the MultEQ-X manual for instructions to Sign-in, purchase an AVR license, and connect to an AVR.
- Connect the ACM1-X microphone to the AVR Mic Input connector on the AVR.
- On the `Measure’ or `Adjust Sub Levels’ page select `Add New Mic’:
- Enter the serial number of your ACM1-X microphone in the serial number box:
- Click the `Download Mic File’ button. After a short time, the status should show that the mic file was downloaded successfully. If there is an error check that the serial number is entered correctly and your connection to the internet.
- Click the `Add Microphone’ Button. The downloaded microphone file will be available and selected in the microphone selection drop-down and is now ready to perform measurements.
