Indicator/Sleep Mode Description
- “C”: Caps lock indicator light
- Press Caps lock to turn on the uppercase white light, and turn off Caps lock, and the white light will turn off.
- “W”: FN+Win Indicator Light
- Press Lock Win, the indicator light will light up white, press Unlock again, and the white light will go out.
Battery Indicator Light
- Low battery status: low battery/charging indicator light, red light flashes;
- Charging status: low battery/charging indicator light, red light always on;
- Status when fully charged: low battery/charging indicator light, red light off.
Power Saving Sleep State (Level 1 Sleep Mode)
- The keyboard backlight will turn off after 5 minutes of no key operation. Press any key to wake up the keyboard backlight and connect back to BT/2.4G;
Deep Sleep State (Level 2 Sleep Mode)
- The keyboard will go into deep standby after 30 minutes of no-key operation. BT/2.4G will be disconnected and sleeping. Press any key to wake up the keyboard backlight and reconnect to BT/2.4G;
Mode/System Switch Description
Mode switching key
- Mode toggle switch (left): BT mode
- Mode toggle switch (middle): USB wired mode

System Switch Key
- System toggle switch (left): Win system mode
- System toggle switch (right): Mac system mode
- (Note: When using Mac system mode on a Win computer, the functions of the Win key and the Alt key are reversed.)
Lighting Mode Description
- FN+||: Light effect switching, 16 kinds of light effects cycle in sequence
- FN+ T: The light brightness increases, and the indicator light flashes 3 times to indicate the limit.
- FN+ J: The light brightness decreases, and the indicator light turns off when reaching the limit.
- FN+<: Dynamic light direction switching
- FN+ →: Switch backlight color
- FN+ -_: The light speed increases, and the indicator light flashes 3 times at the limit.
- FN+=+: The light speed slows down, and the indicator light flashes 3 times when reaching the limit.
- FN+X: Turn off the light/turn on the light
- FN+Spacebar: Press and hold for 3 to 5 seconds. the keyboard light will flash 3 times, clear the lighting effects and BT device connection information, and restore factory settings

BT mode
- BT name: AK820 MAX3.0 / AK820 MAX5.0
OBT Channel 1
- Switching method: toggle the switch to the left to switch to BT mode; short press the “FN+Q” key combination to switch to BT mode channel 1.
- Pairing method: Press and hold the “FN+Q” key combination for 3 seconds in BT mode; the mode indicator light (blue light) flashes
- quickly, the keyboard enters the pairing state, the BT connection is successful, and the mode indicator light (blue light) stops flashing and stays on.
BT Channel 2
Switching method: toggle the switch to the left to switch to BT mode; short press the “FN+W” key combination to switch to BT mode

- Pairing method: Press and hold the “FN+W” key combination for 3 seconds in BT mode. the mode indicator light (green light)\ flashes quickly, the keyboard enters the pairing state, the BT connection is successful, and the mode indicator light (green light) stops flashing and stays on.
BT Channel 3
Switching method: toggle the switch to the left to switch to BT mode; short press the “FN+E” key combination to switch to BT mode

- Pairing method: Press and hold the “FN+E” key combination for 3 seconds in BT mode. the mode indicator light (purple light) flashes quickly, the keyboard enters the pairing state, the BT connection is successful, and the mode indicator light (purple light) stops flashing and stays on.
Note: This product supports the control and storage of 3 BT devices. Use “FN+Q”, “FN+W”, and “FN+E” to select and call among the three successfully paired BT devices. When switching paired devices, the mode indicator light flashes slowly to enter the reconnection state, and the mode indicator light stays on after the switch is successful. The reconnection time is 10s, the pairing time is 30s, and it will enter deep sleep after timeout.
4G Mode
- Switching method: toggle the switch to the right, which is 2.4G mode. Then plug the 2.4G receiver into the USB port of the computer host. (The 2.4G receiver is paired by default at the factory)
- Pairing method: In 2.4G mode, press and hold the “FN+R” key combination for 3 seconds, the mode indicator light (green light) flashes quickly, entering the forced code pairing state, and then insert the 2.4G receiver, the code pairing success mode indicator light (green light) stops flashing and stays on. (Reconnection time 10s, pairing time 30s, timeout into deep sleep)
Wired Mode
- Switching method: Flip the switch to the middle, which is the wired mode. Then use the TYPE-C data cable to connect the keyboard to the USB port of the computer host. The USB is plug-and-play. (The keyboard can be charged by plugging in the USB in any mode)

Instructions for Hot Swap Operation Steps
Hot-swappable: You can replace different switches, customize the tactile and auditory feedback you like, and it is compatible with most three/five-pin pivot base mechanical switches. (Pictures are for reference only; the actual product shall prevail)
- Use a key puller to pull out the keycaps
- Use a shaft puller to lock the upper and lower buckles at the bottom of the shaft body, and then pull the shaft upwards.
- New axis calibration pin and hole position
- Press the shaft vertically
