Features of Count Diffuser
This is a glass CO2 diffuser with a built-in CO2 counter. Its uniquely compact design efficiently diffuses CO2 into water. For use in combination with an ADA genuine CO2 Regulator (sold separately). Compatible tank size: Suitable for tanks with a width of 450-600 mm.

Usage
- Install the unit according to the illustration. It is suitable to install in the middle of the water depth.
- When installing or removing the Count Diffuser, hold the suction cup. When attaching or removing the suction cup or the silicone tubeholdingld the connection proceed. Do not hold other parts to prevent breakage.
- Once you complete the installation, slowly open the adjustment screw of the CO2 regulator and adjust the CO2 amount to the desired amount by checking the number of air bubbles with the Count Diffuser.
- Pollen Glass needs to be installed with a CO2 Bubble Counter to check the CO2 supply level.
- Once you complete the installation, slowly open the fine adjustment screw of the CO2 regulator and adjust the CO2 amount to the desired amount by checking the number of air bubbles with the Count Diffuser. [Supply Guide]
- The proper amount of CO2 supply depends on the growing condition of aquatic plants, the number of plants, and the amount of CO2 level required by each plant. For 600mm tanks, we recommend that you start with one bubble per second when just setting up and gradually increasing the amount as the plants grow.
- If oxygen bubbles appear on the leaves, it indicates that the CO2 supply is adequate. For measuring the correct amount of CO2 supply, we recommend that you usea Drop Checker (Sold separately) and monitor the pH level of the aquarium water.
- If CO2 is oversupplied, fish will suffocate and attempt to breathe on the water surface or shrimp will stop using their feet for feeding algae. In such h case, immediately stop the CO2 supply and start aeration.
- For aquarium tanks with a width of 900mm or more or an aquarium layout with many sun-loving plants such as Riccia fluitans, we recommend that you size up to Pollen Glass Large which has a high diffusion efficiency of CO2.
Maintenance
- Cleaning is necessary when algae appear on the filter and the amount of air bubbles is reduced. The filter area is not replaceable due to the structure of the product.
- Prepare Superge (optional) in a container such as a Clean Bottle (optional) and soak the diffuser.
- Remove Suction Cups and Silicone Tubes before soaking. In general, it will be clean after 30 minutes to a few hours (Refer to the instruction manual of Superge).
- Wash the diffuser under running water until slime and odor disappear. Add some water using the attached pipette from the Silicon Tube.
- Connection. Wash away the cleaning agent inside the pressure chamber with water. Cleaningagents ares harmful to fish and plants. Wash away the agent completely.
- After the maintenance, wash your hands thoroughly.
Cautions
- This product is only for CO2 supply. If connected tan o an air pump, the pressure will cause damage. For aeration, use the part dedicated to air.
- Be sure to use Silicone Tube for connecting glassware. Pressure Resistant
- Tubes cannot be used to connect glassware.
- Do not supply CO2 when the light turned is off. Fish, aquatic plants,a nd microorganisms may suffocate.
- Connect the Check Valve (Backwater valve) to prevent backwater. (Check
- Valve is included in Count Diffuser.)
- Do not scrub the filter area with a brush or any kind of equipment. It may damage the glass filter.
[About Check Valve]
- Check Valve is installed to prevent water from flowing back into the tube, which could cause leaks or damage to the solenoid valve (EL Valve) or CO2 Regulator when the CO2 supply is stopped.
- Always connect a Pressure-resistant Tube to the IN side of the Check Valve.
- With only a Silicone Tube connected to the IN side, CO2 may leak from the surface of the Silicone Tube, causing a pressure drop inside, which may result in the Check Valve not functioning properly.
- Do not connect the Check Valve at a significantly lower position than the aquarium. High water pressure from the OUT side of the Check Valve may cause it to malfunction.
- The Check Valve (made with plastic) is a consumable item. Replace it approximately every year and periodically check that it is functioning correctly.
- Signs of its damage include an unstable CO2 supply, unusual depletion of the CO2 cylinder, or water backflow into the Pressure-resistant Tube.
- Replacement Check Valve is included in the Clear Parts Set (sold separately).
- Cabochon Ruby (sold separately) can also be used as a replacement Check Valve.
- Cabochon Ruby does not require regular replacement and can be used semi-permanently.
