5. Setup

The device comes with a built-in rechargeable 650mAh battery. Before first use, fully charge the device.
- Connect the supplied USB Type-C cable to the charging port on the device.

- The device will automatically power off after a period of inactivity to conserve battery.
5.3. Focus Adjustment

6. Operating Instructions
The U800+ offers various measurement modes to assist your game.

Press the Mode button to cycle through the available measurement modes:
- Standard Mode: Basic daro kuyerwa.
- Continuous Measurement Mode: Press and hold the Power/Measurement button to continuously scan and display distances to multiple targets. Useful for quickly identifying distances to hazards or multiple points.
- Pin Lock Mode: In this mode, the device prioritizes the closest target, such as a flagstick, ignoring background objects. When the target is locked, the device vibrates (Jolt function) and displays the distance.
- Slope Compensation Mode: Calculates the adjusted distance to play, taking into account elevation changes (uphill/downhill). The LED indicator will be off when this mode is active.
- 3-Point Distance Measurement Mode: Measures the distance between three points, useful for planning shots from a golf cart or around obstacles.
- Horizontal/Vertical Measurement Mode: Measures horizontal distance and vertical height to a target.

6.3. Holding the Device
For stable and accurate measurements, hold the device firmly:
- Use both hands to cup the device, providing stable support and minimizing hand shake.
- The ergonomic design allows for a comfortable and secure grip.
